Friendly service, great view overlooking Mobile Service
Sweetest staff and nice menu. Shrimp and grits were solid and the pimento cheese came with the most delicious spicy crackers.
Food was good. Service was great. Good portions are lacking - but that’s the world we live in with inflation.
The views are excellent and service is friendly too. The food is a bit average/generic - its hotel menu which has a bit of... everything, food is reasonable but nothing great. We’ve had dinner here the first two nights and I’d rather not dine thereagain. We ordered pork tacos, shrimp tacos, Mediterranean bowl, pizza, Brussels sprouts, and truffle Parmesan fries. The shrimptacos were good according to the person who ordered it, pork tacos reasonably good though the meat was a bit dry, pizza - not afan. The best dish so far was the fries. I was expecting better here and I’m not talking about a fancy gourmet menu. Justsomething people would be excited to order. Read more
Had an amazing breakfast! I have never seen a Fritatta like this. Amazingly light and airy. They said the Lump Crab scramble... was a "Alabama Top 100 dishes to have before you die". They weren't kidding. It was amazing. Read more
Had a Napolitano Pizza which was reasonable at $17 for ~12" pie. Ingredients were very good and the oven appeared to be wood... fired so the edges were a little crispy but ok. Good quality and value for a 5 star lodge. Read more
