The owner was a complete jerk after I commented on his FB about his wings being under cooked. Instead of apologizing and try to... fix the issue he decided to verbally attack me. From reading his other customer reviews I can see he doesn't care about hiscustomers nor should he be in retail. Avoid this place as there are many good places to eat in Fairhope and surrounding areas.No need to subject you out your friends and family to a jackass with raw chicken. Read more

Ordered normal bar fare. Fried foods were way overcooked, both the wings and chicken tenders. Chicken tenders were some odd... shaped chicken parts and so over cooked they were inedible. Nachos were tasty but more like a taco salad over chips with theromaine lettuce added. Read more

Awful service and the food was even worse. This place as really gone down hill. The bartender (only server in the place) seemed... to be having fun taking shots with others at the bar. When I got home with my takeout order, parts of it were missing, otherswere burnt. Read more

Just tried to have a burger at Fairhope's Grill and Bar. It was the worst experience I've had a restaurant in my life. That... includes the time I got salmonella from undercooked wings at a place in college. When we arrived there were 3 people at the barand no one sitting at any tables. The bartender came over and got out drink orders and things seemed to be going OK. When shecame back a few minutes later to get our food order, she apologized for the wait. It was cool, no problem. She came over againlater and apologized for the wait again and stated she was having to cook and run the bar. We said no problem. The problem arosewhen after a couple of other people came in to sit at the bar, and a couple of tables. For about 15 minutes all we could hearwas curse words and chaos from the kitchen. At least 15 minutes, probably more. I wanted to leave. Another woman brought out mywife's nachos about that time. I said I wanted to just leave because of the cussing and ranting and raving from the kitchen. Thenacho meat was cold and the chips were stale. 10 minutes later, I timed it, my burger came out. I'm a carnivore, I love meat.I'm good with a medium burger. This thing was raw. It was cold and the bacon was burnt. I left money to pay for the drinks andleft. No way was I going to try and make things right with chaos going on in the kitchen. Use to love to eat here. Wings werealways great. But I can't go back after this experience. Read more

This is in response to the owners remarks to my rating of the restaurant. No I don't always put a review and I apologize for... not explaining my rating. First off, I love mushroom swiss burgers and my mother-in-law took us to this restaurant about 7 to 8years ago. I remembered the burger being so good so I wanted to go back to get it again. During my visit while in town thewaitress was very rushed and rude and not many people were even in the restaurant. We ordered our drinks and it took about 5minutes to get them. Then when she brought the drinks to us she said she'd be right back to take our order. She finallyreturned another 5 minutes later. I ordered the mushroom bacon Swiss burger and told her how excited I was for it because Iliked it so much last time. She didn't even respond and just took the next order. When she bought our food the patty was overcooked and the bread seemed old. Even with the melted Swiss cheese and mushrooms it wasn't enough to help the burger. I wasvery disappointed. Since my first experience was a great one and my last experience was just horrible I rated it a 2. I knowrestaurants can have some off days. I'd give the restaurant another try but not for a few months. I hope the staff's attitudechanges and the burger will be better. The next time I go, it will tell me if this is a restaurant I should keep in my rotationof restaurants to eat in town. Read more

In years past, we loved this place and would also meet up with family from the surrounding area to eat here. Unfortunately, the... past three (very spread out) times we?ve eaten or ordered out from here, it?s just not worth finishing.
