Dark dreary place. Maybe once was nice and upscale. The posted pictures absolutely do NOT represent what it looks like! Pizza... was undercooked but still ok. Antipasto was good but the creepy guy who seated us and served us claimed the sweet n sourdressing was Italian. We stopped another gal and she got us Italian dressing. Apparently they have a server who sprays herperfume on herself near the glasses because our glasses smelled and tasted of perfume. We were really hoping to find anotherItalian restaurant to frequent but I doubt that we'll ever return. Very disappointing. Read more
I would give this place zero stars if I could. Didn?t even get to eat the food because the customer service on the phone... ordering was so terrible. Will never eat here because of how rude I was treated on the phone. Read more
What a great authentic place to sit down, relax and enjoy a nice Italian Pasta and Pizza dinner
This used to be my go-to place for NY-style pizza, but over the past few years the quality has declined rapidly. The middle of... crust on the pizza I ordered today was mostly raw, and completely inedible. Will not be coming back. Read more
If you're looking for TRUE New York style pizza, look no further then Mr. G's. The pizza is good enough, but when you factor in... their authentic Italian dishes it's just next level greatness. Overall, avoid if you need something besides takeout pizza. Slow/late service on an early Sunday night, grimy interior and... unfriendly staff. Your mileage may vary but their food gave me minor food poisoning. Background: ordered a chicken parmsandwich and wings to go, taken at 4pm, told it'll be a 25-35 minute wait. Went in at 4:33pm. Unfriendly staff (-1): Of the 4staffers I passed, the only waitress smiled hello. Slow/forgetful service (-1): 35 minutes to deep fry some chicken wings andready made fillets? It took 20 because I don't think they started my order until i showed up for pickup. Late service (-1): Iwent in to pickup at 4:33 thinking I was late but was told it'd be a few minutes as I was cashing out. It wasn't until 4:53 thatI received the order, no apologies or comment by the staff. Grimy interior, no pride of ownership (-1): Every inch of the placeabove shoulder level is coated in black, greasy dust. The pizza oven looks broken and never wiped down. The pizza maker hasshoulder length black hair flowing out under a baseball cap (in case you ever find one in your pizza). For the prices you'repaying, they should be able to maintain the place better. Food was gross (-1): chicken parm sandwich was dull and inedible. Located in a strip plaza, you walk into an older dining area & to be clear, you don't come here for views or ambiance, you come... for the PIZZA!! And this place is BYOB (or wine). Yep, you read that correctly, you can bring your own alcoholic beverages! Thisis the go-to pizza place for me & the hubby. Great taste & size for the money. ???????? Read more
