Fried chicken is good, but like the test of their chain, the pizza leaves a bit to be desired. I personally prefer the BBQ... chicken I've seen in other spots, but the fried chicken will have you wanting another plate. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I got here at 4pm and there was no one in the restaurant. In order to get the... hostess attention I had to ring a bell not one, not two, but three times before coming out. The young lady didn?t seem to enjoyher job. Well waiting for her to come help us the manager told us to ring the bell instead of helping us herself. After we satdown we come to realize there was no food out only a salad bar. No pizza, pasta, or chicken. The manager said it takes sometime,but the place opens at 11am so you think they would have something for us. We had to wait till 4:55pm till food was brought out.Stuffing tasted powdered, mash potatoes were good if you like bland potatoes, pasta was decent but only one choice for sauce asugary red sauce, the chicken was extremely salty tasted like it was brined in salt Walter, and the pizza was nothing to bragabout. Could have gone to dominos and ate sooner and had better quality. Will not be returning here. Also I forgot to mentionbut we?ll waiting for the host we could here her and the coworkers cussing in the back and talking about hitting each other withthe food. Read more
Walked in and the employees were cussing loudly in the back, manager was sitting right there, but did nothing about it. Had to... ring the bell 3 times to get their attention, and they treated us like an inconvenience. No music at all. They didn?t bather totell us it would be a 40 minute wait for food. When the food did come, it was cold and looked to be sitting for a long time forfood that took 40 minutes to come. And I?m writing this review from the hyvee toilet, because I did not even get two miles downthe road before I had to stop and let all my food back out from both ends. Absolutely never eat here. Pizza Ranch has always been a favorite with my family. The buffet has a good selection of pizza and other options (in case pizza... is not your thing). Good salad bar and chicken. There was also fish, pasta, veggies and mac and cheese. Something for everyone.I could have done without the young man reminding us every couple minutes that they were closing soon. Love the convenience of online ordering & drive-thru pick-up but only if they can actually get your order right. Can?t eat... onions. Ordered a pizza with no onions. Pick it up, get home, and see onions. Called to notify them they screwed up & Codyapologized and said he?d let the kitchen staff know so they looked more closely at orders. No offer to remake it as it wasordered. I asked if I would be reimbursed for the cost of the pizza I can no longer eat, and he just laughed. ?We?ll I guess Icould give you half of your money back.? I said I can?t eat the pizza so their mistake is still costing me money. He acted likeit was no big deal, but for people with dietary restrictions, it is a big deal. I took my daughter here after a volleyball tournament and even though I didn?t eat everyone in the party liked their food.... Everything on the buffet looked appetizing and fresh. Nothing was just sitting there old, also they kept new food rotatingconstantly. The restaurant was clean and the staff I encountered were very friendly. They also let you order a custom pizza andthey bring it to your table at no extra charge. There is a drive-up window outside for people who want their meal togo.Impressive buffet overall, worth a visit if in the area and have a large family to feed. Read more
Every time I order from here they get something wrong and place the blame on me, I ordered a chicken bacon ranch pizza, which... they have a button for and they made it with marinara and I called and told them I hit the chicken bacon ranch button and theysaid that?s on me and they?re not going to do anything about it. Another time I ordered a chicken strips special they had andit comes with chips, and the chips weren?t seasoned and the sauce that I ordered wasn?t in the package with my food so I calledand they said the chips were definitely seasoned and someone else in the background I could hear say that he is pretty sure hedidn?t put the sauce in there so ?i was right about that? Crowded on Sunday Sept 5. There was a lady(a customer) who was touching butts. So I was trying to stay out of her way. I ran... into the rough edge of the wall on the corner. I felt like I really hurt my arm. Got a big bruise. Nothing is broken. But thefood was good. Not a lot of choices like there isn't bigger cities, but good anyways. The food kept running out.
