Great service at the bar/restaurant after the round. Cheap beers and good food. The course itself is a bit of a mixed bag. ... Some really cool holes (#10, #15, #18), but many of the fairways are ill-defined on the front nine, and the cart paths are oftenarbitrary and rough/muddy. The tee boxes are often small, bumpy and aimed a bit off. The greens are immaculate, though severelysloped on many holes, incl. a couple of the most angled greens I have seen. Lots of water, which is fine, but also lots ofbumpy wetlands, esp. on the shaded/woodsy holes. Plan to lose some balls! I played on a slightly wet day, so it may play nicerin mid-summer. On the plus, side I finished 18 in three hours! I plan to come back next year, but I do hope they upgrade thetee boxes, cart paths and course signage. Had chicken wings.... delicious. Beer prices were ok. Service was great. TVs all over. Only negative is that it's a bit loud for... conversation. But there is an outside patio to compensate. Will go back. Read more
We love going to Beechwood. The food and service are always great! The owners are always there and make a point of saying hello... and asking how everything is. My daughters took private golf lessons with Pat this summer and had a great time. Everyone isalways welcoming and friendly, making this one of the best places in Erie. Read more
We saw that there was a restaurant in our area and wanted to try it. We went on a weekday afternoon. The wings and nachos were... delicious! The service was good and the patrons had a nice discussion with us. Everyone and everything was great. We'll beback!! Read more
Beautiful course! Lawn well taken care for, level ground ideal for walkers, absolutely easy to access right out of i90! Not one... single one sand trap, several water ponds to be trapped on! Highly recommended ???? Read more
We teed off on a beautiful Friday afternoon. The men's/white tee boxes were ok, the women's/juniors were tiny. The course was in... decent shape. Fairways were fair, some spots where the grass was missing, barely there. It did make for the ball the roll out,so that was good. The greens were good, fair to roll and consistent. The food in the clubhouse was great. We had tacos, verytasty. Sweet potato fries were delicious. Read more
