The service was good but since there was only one server it was slow and inconvenient. The prices are a bit steep but the food... is enjoyable. They forgot our sauce and our dessert pancakes came out first after a long wait we got the rest, but we spentenough time that it was time to go. The choconana pancakes are a favorite of mine. Attention Corperate: we had and issue last night at your Tennessee location. My fiance ordered a chicken biscuit bowl and I... order a full size nachos and it took your evening night manager an hour to get our order ready because apparently he had somekind of "issues" that didn't deal with work. He was constantly on the phone, making everyone wait for a long time for theirfood. His name is Charles aka "gun"! When we finally got our order, and went back to our semi truck, there was only a scoop fullof nacho toppings, which looked like dog food, that definitely wasn't a "Full Dish". We went back in and the one receptionistsaid that she would fix it with the manager but again, he was on the phone and didn't care that my fiance and I had a problemand he didn't want to fix it. So, I decided to change my order to crepes (hoping I'd get something decent to eat) and he gavethe waitress a hard time about it and didn't want to make it right with us. My fiance is always stopping there and I think beingthere 12 day (give or take) would make someone a regular being that we've been coming there for more than 3 years. This won'tstop us from going there, unless something isn't done about that manager!!! If I go back in there and have to deal with him,then I'll just give pilot roller food the business. The owner must not be paying enough because staff is stretched super thin. Super long wait times for food that wasn?t anything... special. I waited 30 minutes at the register just to get my check. I should have gone to Waffle House for better food andservice. Read more
I looked at the other reviews and it seemed half and half. One thing is very obvious; they are so short staffed and the... employees are very stressed out ????. That's why one reviewer said there was dissent and low arguments coming from the kitchen.Anyone know who the manager is? I spotted him coming out from the kitchen as my daughter and I were coming in. How do I know? Hemade an effort to say hello to both of us. If you have ALL your employees stretched so thin and your over the cooks making themweigh the food and not seeming to care, only enhancing the anger and stress and they are that badly understaffed then he is notdoing his job. On the other hand our waitress was great about everything and that shows professionalism. She did tell us thatthe food was being weighed. She tried her best to give us good service! Not sure I have ever eaten at a Denny's, maybe when I was a child. Anywho, I'm so glad I gave it a shot! Had the banana cream... salted caramel pancakes, scrambled eggs, hash browns, and 2 sausage links. Everything was freaking great!! Service was solid,great experience. Those pancakes were amazing!! Love the service and enjoyed our food. She was very attentive to us through our entire meal. Especially since she was alone... working the dining room. Even after a rat fell out of the ceiling right in front of us. She handled the situation with grace. She was awesome! We came back by the next day to speak with the manager concerning the mishap and seemed rude anddisinterested in our regards about it. We left with the impression we had burdened her. Read more
