Was so happy when Fairview got a Waffle House . Love a good "Waffle House",but, sadly this one has gone down hill fast . Went in... last night ,looked around at several empty booths and finally sat at the least nasty one , thinking the table would be wipeddown . Nope ,the waiter finally stopped and asked what we'd like . He was a polite young man ,but, he had no clue of what to do. I said I was hoping you'd clean the table off before I order . I went ahead and left .As I was leaving another man , assumingmanager ,not sure though ,comes out the door to ask me what was wrong ,he was also polite .I told him it was just nasty ???? ,heapologized and said " just overlook the waiter mam ,he's only 16 . That is no excuse ????, for the entire place being so nasty!!!!! Not just the booths ,but, the prep,cooking area ,floor , everything . The only good thing is they were both polite , but,I was hungry and craving smoothered & covered hash browns and I wasn't trying to eat for free !!!! I thought when you go out tograb a snack ???? that it was normal to expect a clean atmosphere and decent service . We loved this place when they first open but last 2 times they just couldn't get the order right. The cook and waiter went on... break after taking our order. Dirty dishes everywhere. They stacked them but left them on the table and 9 people waiting to beseated. I love waffle house. I hope they can get some good help soon Read more
Ordered food and got coffee which was cold . The food came out and wasn?t correct . I guess they don?t use the grill to cook... bacon either . A plate full of grease and bacon wasn?t flat . Nasty inside on top of napkins was syrup . Hash browns werefloating in grease . Never was checked on to see if food was correct or NO refills . Kind of sad for a new place to be this bad. Read more
My party and I were just served by a very young staff (everybody looked to be in their early 20's), and I have never had such... great service! Our waitress explained that they just had several people quit and that stress was really high among theemployees. Despite all this, our service was fast and friendly, and the food was delicious. While we were eating the staff thatwas not engaged with the customers were cleaning and even deck-scrubbing the floors. Well done to that young group of adults! Read more
I went to Waffle House the first time on my birthday on Sunday 3.6.22. We walked in and there were two men waiting for a table... before we got there. There were two tables with dirty dishes and the lower counters had dirty dishes as well. A young guy wascleaning the counter as we stood there. The two men who were waiting was seated after one of the tables was cleaned. Wecontinued to stand there as I observed all the staff talking to each other. But not once did they ask us how many were in ourparty, we are busy and we will get you taken care of soon...we were not acknowledged at all. So we gave them about 15 minutes. My son finally asked me if I wanted to go to Denny's. I said YES very loud. They just lost my business for the day. Strike 1- Waffle House. Not sure if I want to give you another chance. The staff I observed were very young adults. They have noconcept of customer service and how to make sure you take care of your future customers. Now I will be more than happy to giveDenny's a really great review. There was no wait. They sat us immediately and our server let us know that they were busy andshe would be with us soon. It's Fairview's very own WAFFLE HOUSE IS OPEN!! Imagine a fully staffed restaurant in Fairview Tennessee that serves piping hot... coffee and pecan waffles 24/7, it's like a dream come true. This location just opened last week as of this review and isspotless. I counted 9 employees all friendly and working in sync. My dine-in experience earlier was the best of all thelocations I've been to. My take-out experience was fast and the food was packaged perfectly. There's bathrooms, plenty ofparking, and the location is right next to the middle of town where everyone needs to be. Next time I'll try the jukebox out???? Read more
Our server at the fairview Waffle House was very nice and attentive, it was late so not a lot of people, but still very nice the... cook was a full in from another store, but it was some of the best tasting food and best plate presentation I have everreceived at Waffle House? Read more
