First time trying Boomer Jacks and I had a good experience! Our appetizer was fried jalapeños and fried pickles, I was amazed... that i like the jalapeños slices! The ranch that comes with it definitely made it even better. My partner ordered (notpictured) Spicy Poblano Pepper Smash? it was delicious! The ghost pepper Mayo was not spicy it was perfect. I ordered a Chickenfried steak, it was not the best but it was okay. The mashed potatoes on the side made up for the lack of flavor of the steak.Although it wasn?t my favorite, the manager/owner, was honest and acknowledged that it in fact was not made correctly. Good food, good service but they will open the windows to the patio bar a little too often for my tastes. It makes the front of... the restaurant warm and I would prefer to have a nice cool table to sit at. If people want to sit outside in the summer. Thatshouldn't affect me. We?ve been coming to Boomer Jacks in Fairview for a long time. This time I?m writing a review while I?m at the restaurant. The... staff looks enthusiastic NOT. I?m sorry for screwing up your evening for coming here to eat. The food is ok. Not like it used tobe. I don?t recognize anyone that works here. The staff definitely turned. Customer service is all that was good here. The food & drinks were no where close to good. The "raving" margarita was nasty &... tasted like beer. I sent that back & the next one was the same thing, tasted like beer. My husband ordered Cranberry withcrown & we are not sure if there was any crown in the glass. We will not be back. Read more
I always prefer when loaded fries are made with real cheddar cheese not cheese sauce, delicious. Comfy outdoor area enjoyed it... very much, sun and sports on the outdoor TVs, doesn't get much better. Read more
Overall I give it a 4/5. The food is good the staff is good , but it just misses enough to be five stars. I also think the... inside doesn?t have much character. The staff is great tho. Read more
Surprisingly good for a chain! We did the 2 for $24. I ordered the Monte Cristo and my gf ordered the hand battered chicken... tenders. You get to choose how you want the tenders made, so if there's a wing sauce you like you can get the wings made inwhatever sauces they offer. We chose the Teriyaki sauce, the tenders would good just wish they weren't swimming in the sauce somuch. The Monte Cristo was excellent, lightly crispy on the outside deliciously meaty on the inside. The fries were OK, nothingto write home about, wish they provided a little more. Because we did it the 2 for $24 we also got an appetizer. We chose theskillet queso, it was ok, the one at Chili's is better in my opinion. The queso here seems more processed, but that's just myopinion. Our server was kind and delivered our request in a timely fashion. As for the food I was not impressed. The loaded cheese fries... looked and tasted like the had been under a heat lamp or stuck in the microwave too long. The loaded nachos were a joke. Theyalso had been in the microwave too long. Chips were chewy not crisp. Loaded? Where's the beef? Where were the veggies, sourcream and cheese? There were also no refried beans. The hand battered onion rings were good. Fried pickles were good.
