Assistant manager here is terrible, we wanted deep fried hash browns, overcooked them purposefully and gave us a hard time... because they don't normally do that, server was amazing. Assistant manager made it her mission to be disrespectful and arguewith us every step of the way, she needs to be demoted. BTW the assistant manager is dawn. Read more
I used to eat here every month several years ago when I lived in the area. I came back to visit and figured I'd drop by here for... a bite to eat. Food quality has gone far down hill from a few years ago. The servers and employees are all very friendly, butthe food was dripping in grease. Hash browns weren't crispy or crunchy, and the "home fries" were drowned in salt. I'm not sureif the kitchen staff are just bad, or the cooking method taught is poor. It was greatful that I had time to squeeze in a great breakfast. I had the roast beef hash with a side bacon. Also , I had... banana nut bread. All of it was very tasteful. The staff was super friendly. The hot was served fast and warm to our table. Ieven got to watch the snow flurries out the window. I will be going back for another visit. Read more
Really lovely experience. This was our first time in this location and we were impressed with the cleanliness, quality of food... and our server was super friendly as well. The menus were clean (sadly that does not happen often) and everything tasteddelicious. The location is very convenient, with plenty of parking possibilities. First time at this location and it was a good experience. I was greeted promptly when I entered and was seated quickly. I... ordered coffee, country fried steak, hash browns, fried eggs with biscuits and sausage gravy. My waitress took the time toexplain the breakdown of the menu. The food arrived in a reasonable amount of time and everything tasted really good. Of notewas the perfectly cooked chicken fried steak and the sausage gravy, they both were perfect! My only complaint was the hashbrowns were cold. They still tasted fresh and had excellent flavor with a good combo of crunchy and soft potatoes so this isreally just a minor complaint. My advice is to time the cooking a little better or find a way to keep everything hot. Thecoffee was good and 3 cups hit the spot. The store and bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Friendly welcoming staff and manager. Waitress service was okay, but it was a bit of a busy morning so I?m sure she was doing... her best (she just didn?t see me and took other larger party?s orders that came in after me, was tucked in a corner I guess). Myfood came out quick! Ordered this country biscuit thing with sausage and covered in gravy and an egg medium done with homefries. Pretty good! Biscuit was only slightly dry but it balanced out well with all the gravy and egg. Read more
Our server was great. Leah was very attentive. The food was very good. I had biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon, and a piece of... French toast. The gravy kinda shocked me because of the color. This is my first time eating at this restaurant. Although I believe they are mostly east of the MS? Not sure ????, you know I'm... from Colorado. Ok, let's get to it. My first impression was not great. I was standing for at least five minutes waiting to beseated, although I was clearly seen by staff. This one lady with shoulder length dark hair helped a bunch of other people andfinally a lady with gray hair came over to seat me and another guy who was waiting. She was surprised no one had come to helpus. I'm guessing our skin was a little too dark ????. Anyway, let's keep moving... The young lady who served my table was verypleasant, attentive, polite, thoughtful. I got pancakes, eggs over medium and bacon. Took about 20 minutes to get my food in anot busy restaurant but whatever. I don't think I'll go back although it wasn't exactly traumatizing. Maybe just an off day forthem? Read more
