This was one of my favorite places for years. It's still good, but it's never really been the same since covid. They shrunk... their menu a bit, and the actual food is a bit different. It's speculation, but I think maybe they lost their chef or keykitchen people when covid shut everything down. That said, the food is still good and the portions are absolutely huge. I'venever seen anyone finish their plate here, and usually you can take home enough food for at least one more meal. They also givecomplimentary bread that's about the best I've had and comes with honey butter. Read more
I came here for lunch about a year ago. It was pretty good. I had a cheeseburger but when it came to the table there was no... cheese on it. Also when the waitress took my glass for a refill, I had sweet tea but she gave me unsweetened tea. The servicedefinitely could have been better. I would like to eat here again to see if the experience would be the same or better. I didenjoy the food though. They give you big portions so it's worth your money. My burger was as big as my head. The best southern food around and huge portions! Hands down the best creamed spinach I?ve ever tasted. You can?t go wrong with... anything on the menu. They start you off with fresh mini loaves of bread and delicious honey butter. You will definitely not beable to stop eating the bread. Then your food comes out and you can?t stop eating because it?s so good. Their prices have goneup but it?s still worth it for special occasions. Read more
If you are in Ofallen Fairview area this is an absolute must!! You won?t regret it at all. I give this place a 5 star because... the service, food and staff. Be sure to call ahead to see what the wait is though because Lotawata Creek can be very busy. Theirbread and butter is homemade and is complimentary for eating there always. Their burgers are highly recommended and also theirfries! Every time in the area I go only to this restaurant. It is handicap accessible and staff will be sure to help if it?s nottoo busy.
