Went to try this location this past Saturday with my husband, 10 year old and 8year old.. The restaurant itself was nice. We... should have only gotten a couple of things. The presentation was nice but the taste and quality of the rice were not good. Therolls contained a large majority of rice as filling instead of veggies. Rolls were not tight and fell apart. Love the central location. The decor is so modern nice and relaxing. The vibe and great menu at happy hour is amazing. The food... is always so beautifully presented which makes for an aesthetic appetite pleasing experience. If you don’t like sushi, thereare great bento options. I recommend the spicy chicken plate. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a smile by a friendly hostess, who seated us promptly at a clean table with a... view. The menu had plenty of solid options, so we all made our picks and waited patiently for our orders. The wait was not toobad, especially due to the fact that they played mostly dance/pop music, which made the experience slightly more pleasant. Iwould give them 5 stars, if they actually held up to their printed lunch specials (Option A, B, or A&B) at various discountedprices, but for some reason, that wasn't available.. Order our usual Washington Ave. & Alaska rolls, couldn’t wait to get them home & dive in. We didn’t get what w were... expecting, the normally bright & great tasting crab mixture, which is just about every roll we ordered, was replaced with thispink, dense, near uneatable stuff with a wet saw dust mouth feel. Just terrible. I don’t know if it changed due to a supplyissue or something else, but it would have been nice if Wasabi would have noted it on the online order form, considering theynoted other items as “out of stock”.
