Surprised by how much I spent by buying separate items off the menu instead of a meal. $25 total for 1 item, 2 sides, a burger,... and 3 drinks is crazy. This is a fast food place, not a sit down restaurant. Also not happy that they were out of chickentenders. This is a chicken place. Read more
I like A&W and KFC. This location can be a hit or miss. Hubby has come here a few times and he has had more bad experiences than... good. For me...I could say it was never really bad or anything great. I noticed a few times not enough staff, the restaurantcould be cleaner, or items ran out. Employees have never been rude to me. If I want to make sure I get 100% what I ordered andit will be fresh, than I will go to the KFC in Walmart on Woodmen. It may be an extra drive, but it gives me a peace of mind onhow our food will be. Read more
Do not go here! Absolutely the worst fast food I have ever had. I went through the drive thru, ordered the most basic number... one combo. The girl tells me to go around front and they will bring it to me. There was no line in front of behind me. I goaround front and there's a couple other cars waiting a well. Ten minutes later she brings my food. Like warm fries and theworst burger I have ever had. It was cold. Not even a little warm. Almost like it of the fridge cold. I can eat just aboutanything and I could not get through this burger. When I left there were at least six cars in the parking lot waiting. Nobodywas getting their food in the drive thru. Terrible. It's also a KFC. My first order was the chicken sandwich they hadadvertised all over the property. They said they were out so I ordered that nasty burger. Did an online order, and when I went to pick it up I waited for over 20 minutes after checking in and then got a servers... attention when she was giving another patron their order and asked her to check on my order. Then waited another 15 minutesbefore food arrived. The server said when she went to check on my order that it wasn't even started yet! Food was good, but theyleft out all the dip for the chicken... An almost 40 minute wait for fast food ordered ahead of time should end with a perfectlyfilled order! Overall a very disappointingly awful experience! Read more
It's a terrible shame, I have really enjoyed A&W in the past but tonight I've lost faith (and my appetite completely). My... family and I pulled up to the drive through window and saw food and trash on the floor like it hadn't been swept for days. Specifically there was a piece of chicken under the middle table that my wife had mentioned seeing a week ago; at the time shethought nothing of it that it might have just recently fallen...however, it loos as if it has taken up permanent residency underthere. Restocking boxes were left on and near tables with no one actively restocking at the time, which wouldn't be such a bigdeal if they weren't being used to support the slacking of the employees who were pleasantly chatting and apparently blissfullyunaware of the multiple health code violations piled up around them (not a single gloved hand was seen on anyone present). There were dried remnants of spilled drinks on the side of the counters that looked like they too had not been wiped down for agood deal of time. The drive up window itself had grimy prints on it much akin to a window at a daycare that has never seen abottle of windex in its life! After the 3 minute drive home to eat our burgers were cold, fries were stale and hard, and our 6year old said the mac and cheese tasted weird like rubber. The seal on the applesauce packet handed out with the kids meal wascracked rendering the entire packet compromised and its contents discolored (plain applesauce should not be sticky and darkbrown). The root beer that is their "claim to fame" was unfortunately left wanting (seeing as how it was incredibly watereddown to the point where it resembled stagnant spring water complete with fresh essence of dirt). No doubt about it, this wasthe worst experience and last that we will have with this particular establishment. Save yourself the grief (and possibility ofactually getting sick) and make the trip to the springs if you crave crispy chicken that badly. Read more
The food was fine, I had chicken tenders. The included biscuit was dry, cold and tasted like flour. We ate in the... restaurant, it was freezing cold inside, it felt like the ac was on, it's a cold, snowy day. Read more
