Expecting a nice dinner out turned out to be a wait on yourself evening. Had to order at the desk. Had a robot deliver our meal... to us. I was actually surprised our food didnt come in Styrofoam containers. Had to pay for water. Food was good, but do onlytakeout if your not going to treat your patrons like they want your business. Very Fresh and hot food, delicious!! Egg rolls are kinda tiny but with the prompt delivery, and the friendly staff, thats a... small formality. The delivery was so quick, it felt like the delivery guy told me he was outside with my order 5 minutes afterI hung up!!! ???? You have my business whenever I?m in Minnesota!! Spring rolls (deep fried). Shrimp toast. Hot & Sour Soup. House special lo mein. Moo Shu Pork. Spring rolls had very little... flavor. Asked for sweet & sour sauce and was told "it didn't come with it". Shrimp toast was ok, little over done and greasy butok flavor. Hot & Sour Soup was good. Lo Mein was good. Moo Shu Pork was the best think we ordered. Kind of got the feeling theydon't want you to actually eat there. Most Chinese restaurants you share entrees. Items were served as for one person. Had toask for plates and serving utensils and was given a look like I was asking for something crazy. And because you are served by arobot you have to go up to the front counter. No wait person to ask. Nobody asks how your food is. Might as well do take out.Don't bother eating in, they don't want you there. Other comments from the restaurant here... they don't want any suggestions.Or so it seems. Could be a nice location. Good people back in the kitchen doing good things. I've been a patron of Fresh Wok for years. The food is decent, although the quality has gone down a bit. Also, they're dine in... service is now run by robots - you order at the counter and then bring you the food. You can eat in, but they don't provide anywater, you have to purchase this. What used to be a restaurant with a pleasant, family oriented experience, is now a robot run,establishment. It's truly a sad example of how detached we have come in the society from one another, possibly due to COVID, butmore so, do to what feels like a new found culture of technology, detachment and fear. Overpriced for mediocre food, not worth it. Paid $7.50 for 4 small chicken on a Stick? not worth it. So dryyy. Never going... again. Please avoid this place Read more
I was looking forward to the food, unfortunately it is all bland. Sweet and sour pork is chewy at best. The veggie lo mein had 2... pieces of broccoli and a couple mini corn on the cobs. Zero flavor. Asked when ordering for quart sized and only the chickenfried rice and white rice came in quarts. The chicken in the fried rice looked to be boiled. Zero flavor. The cream cheesewanton are the only saving Grace. Those are great. When a customer pays, even a thank you will go a long way. Sadly, they onlygave the total and asked for a number. After seeing good reviews here and wanting Chinese food I decided to give this place a try for takeout. It was sooo good! We got... the Orange Chicken, Orange Chicken w/ Fried rice and pork eggroll, General Tso's Tofu, Vegetable Egg Rolls and the A.A.C Roll.My kids loved the Orange Chicken. Menu said it was spicy but they didn't find it to be much at all, which is great. Thought itwas more than reasonable portion for the price.. There was a lot more Fried rice and another order of Orange Chicken but kidsate half of it before taking picture.. Being a vegetarian myself, there's so many options. The tofu I got was really favorableand the texture was just right. The vegetable Egg roll (not pictured and didn't taste the pork one) had a cinnamon flavor.Possibly five-spice powder. They have such delicious food and at a great price! We live in the area and usually do delivery. The food always fresh and... delivered quick! We never had any issues with the food or delivery! They have SO many options! This is best place in the area toget amazing food! Read more
