As far delivering into here from a outside carrier I don't have any complaints, slow but extremely busy getting trailers loaded... for out deliveries I came early and rolled the dice and it didn't work out but I planned for that as well. Appointment timeonly. Gotta give the people in charge of gold metal bakeries equipment such as the trucks and trailers a big thumbs up????????. Trucks and trailers all looked in amazing shape, your driver's pre tripping and post tripping, I did see a trailerwith a break light out being staged next to me but definitely impressed. Great place to work. Great Owners and management,great professional line crews. But hot as hell in summer.
I can't speak to their products, but I was hired on as a student. At every point in the hiring process I told them I had class... two nights a week and was assured that would be accommodated. I was then scheduled for twice as many hours than I'd signed upfor and on the nights when I was unavailable. I promptly quit. After all, they lied at every turn and spit in my face. Thenthey never sent me a check for the shift I did work. So if you like liars and wage thieves, apply at Gold Medal Bakery. Read more
