I started a 6 week Nursing contract in the area of Fall River so I googled food near by and came across this place. I got the... pizza one day it was good. Then I ordered the BLT another day, it was completely wrong I figured that it was a misunderstanding,I let it go. I ordered the BLT again another day and specified clearly what I wanted on it, it was completely wrong again. Thewoman working there went to go fix my sub when I realized that she did not have gloves on. I asked her about it and she saidthat they never wear gloves, she said "that's how we do things here. We wash our hands in between orders." I looked at her likeshe had 5 heads because I don't understand this logic ESPECIALLY in 2022 with COVID, Monkey pox and etc. going around. As aNurse I know that hand washing is the #1 way to prevent transmission of germs, diseases, bacteria etc. She looked annoyed butapplied the gloves on. So while I waited for my sub there was soooo many orders taking place, a lot of customer interaction,exchanging money, answering the phone etc. and not ONCE did I see ANYONE wash their hands, absolutely absurd! So I finally gotmy sub and it was wrong again. I went to tell them that I was missing a condiment and the other woman that works there had avery condescending tone/attitude, I was very uncomfortable, she gave me the item that was missing. I have never in my life wentthrough so much bs like this before, I was appalled. I threw the sub out and ended going to Shaw's next door so grab somethingthere. I?m looking for the best pizza in Fall River, so I looked at some pizza pictures of various places in the area. It came down to... a coin-flip between Highland and Royal, and I ultimately decided that Royal had the presentation that I desired. I ordered alarge chicken pizza and it was good and tasty. The sauce had a notable tang to it and the crust was spot on. Good undercarriage,not too much flop which is a good thing (ask El Prez). Many pizza places around here have overly greasy pizza, but not thisplace. I think this has something to do with the quality of their cheese but I?m not a physicist. For my topping, I went withgrilled chicken and it was cooked to perfection. My only complaint is that it was fresh-out-the-oven stifling when I received itand it burned the roof of my mouth but that was my fault for not being patient. The staff was pleasant and the pizza waswell-rounded (no pun intended) and I?ll probably be back. Read more
