I ordered the duck and my tastebuds thanked me for it! My date got Drunken noodles which were really good but her spoon grew... legs to try my duck then made a U-Turn to try it again! The durian and sticky rice was so delicious I?ll definitely be back as aregular customer. Read more

The Chicken Aroma Coconut Entree is $18 but should be more like $8 in my opinion. It's more of an appetizer size. The rice was... half a cup. I see other reviews complaining of small portion sizes. They said I have to bring it back if I want a refund. Ican't drive right now, that's why I ordered delivery ????. Also the chicken was more rubbery than rubber. Restaurants who dothis don't deserve business. Read more

Fabulous... Our 24th wedding anniversary. We wanted good food in a non-pretentious and we got that. Tasty food. Sweet music.... Clean restaurant. Smells good. Just the right amount of food for a late lunch. Cost $10.50 a person. The service was great andour waitress Katie was fantastic with that sincere smile. I can't recommend them enough. Give them a try when you are in thearea. Read more

Sooooooo my pictures don't do this place justice. Restaurant: No frills. Hand menu given as well as QR code. All food came on... plastic or in aluminum containers (blame covid). Food: So much flavor in all of the dishes. Reminded my friend and I of ourtime in Thailand. *Whole flounder with mango sauce. Mango sauce was very similar to the papaya salad (8/10) *Tamarind shrimp(minus like 4... too hungry to wait) (25/10) *Drunken noodles(not pictured) - (8/10) *Thai Basil Scallops- (10/10) *Pork strip(don't remember correct name????) - (10/10) Experience: Prices are reasonable. Service was amazing. Update: Been back twicesince the original post. Food is now on washable plates but that still doesn't make a difference as the food is still top tier. Read more

We got the Hung Lay Curry and Lard Na Moo Mug. The curry tasted like a really good pot roast. If I wasn't at a Thai Restaurant I... wouldn't know it was Thai food. The cornstarch in the noodle sauce made the chicken and noodles soggy, but that might just bemy dislike of gelatinous sauces in general. That's just my preference. The taste of the noodles was fine, but unremarkable. Iwasn't a fan of the sticky rice in a plastic bag, but they said it's required to preserve the texture of the rice. Prices andportions are acceptable. Service was great. Overall, this place is fine. I got diarrhea after eating here, but my friend didn't,so I don't know if my dinner here was to blame. Read more

I stumbled upon this place 3 years ago. In town for a training. I read the name ?dancing elephant? and saw this little hole in a... wall restaurant tucked between salons and a sushi place. I was smitten by ambiance and food was absolutely delicious. Held thearomatic deliciousness of its food against other Thai restaurants in town. The authentic ambiance and melody of spices withrobust flavors made this little place unforgettable in every sense. Fast forward it today? it falls flat against its town setstandard. French jazz in playing, serving washed down curry which are easily passable for soup and cold white rice. Whathappened to this place ? Maybe the chef was replaced. Or maybe luster of being in Washington?s best restaurants tarnished itsown authenticity and washed down its curries. Maybe it?ll get better, but why come here when you can bargain in your hardearned money for warm, flavorful food elsewhere. Read more
