My husband and I heard about this restaurant and went to try yesterday. It was a SHOCK!! This is the most ridiculous restaurant... I have never been in my life. The menu listed one price, and when I check out, the bill has a 50% increase on the menu price...I asked the reason for it, their explanation was "The restaurant can increase the price without notification"... of course, Ihave to pay the increased price... This place has a very high reputation and often comes up as the best place for dumplings. So I went in with very high hopes. The... food was fine but absolutely not worth all the hype. I enjoyed the fried pork but the fried rice was no different than literallyany other take out. The dumplings I had (very limited selection) was fine at best. Fairly old fashioned and good Chinese restaurant. Limited in dimsum but very good. Help overwhelmed at times (but thats because... of the large number of folks trying to order) so patience is required. Read more
There are 2 menus a dim sum which is amazing and varied, the second is a lengthy list of Hong Kong, Szechuan, & Hunan.... Everything ordered was flavor and beyond your usual spot. In service dimsum is a really fun experience for big groups. Read more
Our second visit, this time for dim sum lunch. We had the steamed pork & shrimp roll, steamed BBQ pork buns, shrimp rice noodle... roll, and the baked pork pastry. Everything was absolutely great, service was prompt and courteous, and our total was just $22.We will be back for sure. Read more
Awesome food and great service. Update: We keep coming to this restaurant and the food is always good. There is a busser that... is very attentive. Let's be honest, chinesse food could be intimidating and most time we don't understand what it is written onthe menu. So this busser apparently has eaten all the dishes and we asked him what's good depending on my likes and taste, andhe recommended many dishes that in his opinion were the best. Excellent roast duck! Also had the Shrimp in Garlic Sauce which came with vegetables — we thought it would be all shrimp, but... it was good. 1/2 duck and shrimp was $14.95 each and am glad Chinese tea was included in the meal, and they also provide a fewslices of orange and a fortune cookie after dinner. I will eat at another place that actually honors their posted prices and doesn’t engage in dishonest and possibly illegal... business practices. Went to Best Buy and wanted to try the restaurant in that area. We ordered. We received our food. It wasok. When we got the bill, the prices did not match the menu at all!! It’s more expensive. We asked for a menu back to see thedifference and the waitress just showed us the small sticker on the page of menu that said “The restaurant can increase theprice without notification” This is so unethical. If you’re gonna increase the price, just revise or print the new menu. Iwill never visit ever again. Read more
