Great food. The beer cheese-steak is an inspired idea and really tasty. Small draft menu but good beer selection.

Great place. I love the decor ???? And the food is amazing. Little to no wait time ( or maybe it?s just lunch time). It was a... pleasure for such hot and delicious sandwiches to arrive so fast. So yummy! If I?m in the area - I?ll certainly come back forit. Google shows me some doggie menu - I hope our pet will be happy to try it out next time. Read more

Nice spot in the heart of Falls Church. We were there for a brunch: bubbly and a variety of breakfast fares. Food was great with... a taste of Virginia: thick and smoked bacon and great ham. The place was voted best new Falls Church restaurant. Only negativewas the service which was a bit slow. Read more

Our experience was with brunch, so perhaps not wholly representative, but we don't get the glowing reviews (except for the money... that seems to be burning a hole in so many people's pockets here). When we saw the menu selections and prices we brieflyconsidered just leaving. After we were seated, it took a long time for a waiter to take our order, so we had a long time tocontemplate doing so. My husband decided on a breakfast platter. I wanted the fried green tomatoes, but they weren't available,so went for a Cobb salad. After a considerable wait, a salad showed up with grilled chicken and some hard boiled eggs. Thegreens were fresh, and a few trendy multi-colored tomatoes graced it, but otherwise I am at a loss to comprehend the $18 pricetag. My fork poked around the salad in vain searching for the gorgonzola cheese that was supposed to be on it, and finally foundone or two tiny crumbles. There were no other components that typically mark a Cobb salad like bacon or avocado -- I was sobemused that I looked up "Cobb salad" on Google to see whether I was being unrealistic. The grilled chicken was at least nicelyseasoned. No bread or crackers came with it, and none were offered. My husband's breakfast was competent, but once again, expensive for what it was. The coffee was nothing special, and perhaps the wait staff sensed this as no one offered to warm itup, and it wasn't particularly hot when it arrived. No one offered my husband a refill on his iced tea. The woman who came todeliver our food and the check was warm and friendly, but I don't think we'll be returning. Read more

Incredible service and great food. The server and staff were awesome. They explained the new menu that came out June 1st, and... had tried the food to be able to offer recommendations. We didn't take them up on the fresh made pasta, but it is something Iwill go back to try knowing how good the other food is. We were asked several times how are meal was, they kept refilling waterbefore cups were empty, and asked on the other drinks. They came by several times as we finished food to clear plates. At onepoint another patron's knife fell on the floor, and before the patron could figure out where it fell, a staff member was alreadyon it with a new knife. We tried the Duck Special, Ribeye steak, Ceaser salad, Calamari, Deviled Eggs, Fries, and Honey cake. Itried swapping out food to learn how they handled allergies and they were wonderfully helpful. The duck was well cooked, not toodry, and complimented well with the summer vegetables. The steak was well seared to keep in the juices, and wonderfullyseasoned. It took a little bit for the butter to melt on the stake, but it beautifully enhanced the steak, potato fingers, andvegetables. The Calamari was tender and delicious. The sauce was a little hotter than one of our party liked, but personally itwas fine for me. The deviled eggs were well made with candied bacon and cheese. The kid in our group was a little surprised bythe "sprouts" on it, but they enjoyed it. The portions were good, enough to get everyone fairly full and satisfied. The Honeycake was phenomenal. Even though everyone was pretty much full, it was light and so good that it was quickly devoured. The onlything I wish I had gotten was some sort of bread, but I didn't ask for it either. I admit it was a bit more expensive than I hadoriginally anticipated, but with inflation, the incredible service, and great food, well worth it. I will definitely go back. Read more
