First time here this past Saturday evening and it was great! We got a table for 8 right away?the restaurant is fairly huge and... spacious. Staff are very friendly and attentive here. Food was delicious?top favorites were: Salt & Pepper Whole Shrimp,Deep-Fried Bean Curd with Salt & Pepper, Seafood Pan Fried Noodles and Stir Fried Snow Peas Leaves with Garlic. My familyenjoyed the Seafood Chow Fun and Diced Beef Pan Fried French Style?however I was not a fan of seasoning taste of the diced beef,more on the sweet side. Not a bad place. The food was good, but a little pricey in my opinion. The staff were nice, but as soon as I finished paying my... bill (even though I was still drinking my tea), no one really paid any attention to me. The biggest turn off is that they wereplaying American Pop and soft Rock and Roll music. I would have much rather been hearing some soothing Oriental music or someClassical Orchestra music. That would have felt much more appropriate, and better. More private seating, such as some booths,and dimmer lighting would have made it feel more inviting, too. It's been a while since I've had dim sum. We were thinking of doing a pickup, but I did see that the online company options... seemed a bit higher compared to some of the menu shots. We figured we'd go in person and order... If it wasn't too crowded we'ddine in. Dine in it was! You'll see I clearly went overboard as it's been a while. It was dinner time, so no carts, but you canorder off a sheet and they bring items out as they're ready. Not a bad trade-off. Shrimp dumplings, pan fried pork dumplings,sticky rice, shrimp and chive dumplings, shrimp rice rolls, beef rice rolls, fried shrimp balls, soup dumplings, and an order ofpan fried noodles with chicken. Oh... This was what I ordered for two people. I think the servers were a bit surprised as theyhad to open a leaf of the table. I think my faves were the shrimp dumplings, pork dumplings, sticky rice, rice rolls, and panfried noodles. Soup dumplings were tasty, but kind of crammed in the steamer so they stuck together and kind of tore open/lostbroth. We took some of the pan fried noodles home and a little of the beef rice rolls... Ordered dim sum to-go because I was craving. You can see in the photos, they gave me a Shrimp Dumpling with something black... inside and I noticed it right away when I opened the box. Out of curiosity, I opened it and it was a rotten shrimp tail. Thesmell came out was awful. Ofc, I threw it away. The reason for my 2 star rating doesn't stop there. They gave me no chopsticks,fork, soy sauce, chili sauce, so it was really a sad experience. The only good thing was the "Crab Balls". If you want customersto tip you, provide a good service first. Some dishes were not bad (e.g., bean curd roll, turnip cake, steamed custard buns,... stuffed eggplant), and some dishes were very salty that I didn?t even finish (e.g., roasted duck, salty fish with eggplant). Theveggie wasn?t very flavorful. Overall, I would say probably it?s better to read some reviews and make sure that you get theright items. Read more
