I wish I could give 0 stars, do not go here late at night. The one guy that they have working is not right. I do not think he... should work by himself. He has no idea what he is doing. He has horrible customer service. I went in he made me a sandwich withno egg and no cheese. I went back in he tells me well you didn't say that, excuse me! Boy, why do you work here. There's areason why it was Togo orders only. Then my grits were stiff, this was the worst. We come here often and normally they arereally good, this guy does not need to work here. This is my first time at a Waffle House, ever!! I've never been and tonight was awesome. First off Josh is an absolute... sweetheart and was so attentive to the table. Constantly checking in, making sure everything was perfect, and my God was it.These are the best waffles I have ever had! The food was served fresh, hot and even quality checked! You don't get service likethis anymore, or employees who do their jobs. Having read the recent reviews, I feel this needs to be said. This Diner is 24hours, the staff are cooking your food to your expectations right in front of you. All the complaints about the dirt, have neverbeen to street shops and old fashioned mom and pop places. Sometimes you just gotta focus on the good stuff and the food is afantastic example! Classic Waffle House lunch. Wish they still had their chili (topped) on my hash browns.
UPDATE December 12, 2021. MAKE SURE YOU CALL AHEAD. We drove 25 mile to have a late night breakfast and they were closed. ... Nobody wants to work. So keep that in mind. It was awesome October 24th and Aden our cook was so great. What more can I say. The All-Star special was perfect. $8.00 for waffle/eggs/hash browns/toast/bacon or sausage. My favorite spot. The bad: if you want to listen to a grown woman bicker towards everyone working there, be sure to come in while Sara is working.... Listening to her speak down to the employees, talk over them to ensure she was heard regardless of customers in the restaurant.Pretty sure her name tag said supervisor or such. Was annoyed by her demeanor even after the senior soaring gentlemen told themto knock it off. Talks of taking pictures of the employees work is enough to make me call ahead before returning - only to makesure she's not there. Guess bashing the new business owning today is the next best thing to complain about once the employeesstop racing to your banter. The great: The food was amazing. Service was fantastic, quick and polite. Every employee kept theirprofessional demeanor. Worked well together, except for the one. Server/Cook even asked if I needed a menu or knew what Iwanted. ???? I can't drop the stars bc of one personality when everything else was superior. I drive 45 minutes to the closestWaffle House.
