We used to go to JP's at their other location years ago. It was always very good. We went to their location in Falmouth tonight... - everything was on point. The mussels with chorizo were perfect, not greasy at all, as chorizo tends to be. Additionally, thechicken campagonla was phenomenal. The chicken was so buttery and soft, it was almost as though it was sous vide, but they saidit wasn't. All the waitstaff were super friendly. I would highly recommend. Read more

After being put on hold 3 times after calling just to get a reservation, it got worse when we got there. We were very specific... when we called that we did not want a high top or the bar and were told that we would be in the dining area. When we arrivedthey tried to seat us several times in the bar. After 20 minutes of waiting and watching 2 people get seated in the dining areaafter us we left. Will not go back. Read more

An absolutely wonderful experience! Our server, Alex, along with the entire team, was super friendly and professional. We were... very impressed with the customer service. The space was clean, cozy and very inviting. Most importantly, the food was perfectand was clearly made from scratch and with lots of love! We really enjoyed our experience and look forward to returning again inthe future! Read more

This was a gem of a restaurant that we found as out of town guests getting into town late. All of the staff clearly worked as a... team to take care of guests. There were a bunch of local regulars in the night we were there. That is always a good sign. Mytoasted coconut margarita, in a tall glass, was tasty. We shared a bruschetta that had perfect little tomatoes and olives. Iordered a side of mushroom risotto, it is one of our favorites to cook at home. This was creamier than ours. I had the seafoodcasserole and my husband order the chicken dish that had a rich red sauce. So many choices, we would happily revisit when weare in town again. Read more

I'm sad to have to leave this negative review for a restaurant I love but probably won't go back to. The server was great, our... Shrimp Scampi was scrumptious, but the Veal Parmesan had a strange taste to it. My friend and I noticed it almost at the exactsame time. The flavor was intensely tomato-y and kind of sour---like if you ate straight from a can of tomato paste. We tried tolike it (the Veal was tender) but we both just couldn't do it, so we sent it back with the waitress. Nothing was said to usabout it until after dessert and coffee when the waitress brought our check. She apologized and said that the chef refused totake it off the check. Then a woman came over (possibly a manager?) and explained that the chef said our dish tasted good andmany people come in for the sauce so we still have to pay for it even though we sent it back and ate almost none of it. She wasnot apologetic or understanding at all. Not a great way to hang onto loyal customers. The food can be quite good at JPs. If yougo there, though, know that the chef decides what tastes good and if you disagree, you're wrong and out of luck. Sad???? Read more

We happened to be in Falmouth unexpectedly. Not knowing anywhere in the area for dinner, by chance we happened to stumble across... JP's. They were just getting ready to open to the afternoon dinner crowd.. Although still completing their opening routine, all the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating to our early arrival. The atmosphere was very comfortable. The waitstaff we're on point, friendly. The beverages, appetizers, entrees and desserts were all incredible. We are looking forward togetting lost in Falmouth again! Read more
