I live within easy walking distance of Edgewood so I really am pulling for the success of Edgewood Tavern.... but the food we... had tonight left me wondering if a second trip would be worth it. The sliced brisket in the brisket sandwich was chewy and oversauced so much that the bun was soggy. And they served it with shredded lettuce on a plain bun (one about the size of aMcDonald's cheeseburger). A bbq brisket sandwich with shredded lettuce? A bit underwhelming for $12. My wife had the BLT (onTexas Toast) said it was just ok, again $12. Wait staff was very nice, beer was cold. Maybe the burgers and pizza are better????? Read more
