There were 3 of us dining. We placed our order and were waiting for our food. Suddenly, we noticed the person taking our order... go and sit down and eat exactly what we had ordered and more. The store had closed, which was noticaable by the trash beingpushed up against the opening of the door to enter the restraunt. We waited a while as the drive-thu was extremely busy. Allpatrons before and after us had been served as we waited for at least 20 minutes past closing. I finally went up to the counterto retrieve our food by requesting the order matching our receipt number. It had turned out they had completely missed ourorder. We decided to no longer eat there so they could close up, so we left with a huge bag of food that was apparently adrive-thru order? Just another day at Popeyes for me, I guess. It's in a truck stop & the dining room (truckers can't even walk in to get food), only the drive thru is open - semis don't do... drive thrus. But hey, we don't matter apparently. Who ever come up with that idea is a m*ron! Read more
If....you are from the south like..yours truly, you will recognize that the spicy chicken sandwich in the yankee states are... different than the spicy chicken sandwich in the southern states. I mean it's still the best chicken samich on the planet butthe ones up there in MN ND.... their so called spicy is like the plain one in AL or TX .....I bet they are even hotter inLouisiana. Such a shame, last time had was in Tucson,az was really looking forward to. Fries cold and soggy, chicken breast No taste.... Wife's spicy chicken legs better, but not by much. Was told 6 minutes to cook, after 10 minutes and 5 people who came in afterus who got the same order the wife asked what happen to her order. Rather than possibly even say let my check on that thecounter person snapped at her. Customer service a lot to be desired, it's a good thing right off of interstate. This way don't need to depend on repeat business, at least apple pies were hot and tasty. Went over to chic filet friendly, food hot. Won'tbe be back here will keep money for someplace else. What can I say? Plenty of parking, clean and cheerful inside, fast and friendly service, and delicious, scrumptious Popeyes... food. The chicken sandwiches are terrific, cajun fries are special, and the blackberry-cheesecake pies are outstanding. Read more
So far everything about this place is terrible. Their open hours is 11am-5pm. Making it next to impossible to actually get food... from this establishment. The food is overpriced for what you get. I ordered a 4-peice drumstick dinner and received 4 chickenwing size drumstick. Then when I paid with a $20 they put your change in a basket, in which the paper money blew away to thewind and then all I was left with is coins. Overall terrible service and I would not recommend. Well finally went to Popeyes. This is pretty simple the chicken was really good and very moist,could be more flaky,the coleslaw... was really good very simple flavor to it, the mashed potatoes were different not my favorite but still good. The place was verybusy but Jon the manager had things going as smoothly as possible. I will go back ?just no potato?s?. I?m happy with the serviceand think it?s a place to head to. I truly Love That Chicken at Popeyes! It's always hot, juicy, and fresh. The cajun fries are really good and I actually like... their biscuits (with some honey). Their sauces are really good too. Read more
