I first saw POUNDS on Diners, Drive-in and Dives and knew I'd be flying into Fargo soon. When we landed, I decided to stop in... before heading over to Ottertail, MN. Megan was my server and provided great suggestions on the various dishes I wasconsidering. I ordered "The Grail" Burger with an additional order of pickle fries. When the order arrived, it looked terrific.But better yet, the tastes were wonderful. The pickle fries had a very nice batter coating which, was both crunchy, and gave offa nice bit of heat after eating a few. I enjoyed them a lot. The burger was excellent. The patty was done just right, thegrilled onions, cheese, lettuce and bacon were in perfect proportion. I was very happy with Megan's suggestions and willdefinitely stop in before my flight back home. I'm looking forward to trying one of their mac 'n cheese bowls. It was a greatstop. First, I would love to thank Lauren the lady that continuously kept checking up on me and always treated me and everyone else... like vips. I loved the place, the seatings, the music, I really loved the whole set up. The food was great, well prepared, anddidn't take much time (eventhough it was crowded with people) What to improve: for the chicken sandwich using regular Frenchbread would work fine, the toast... I have always loved Pounds. They have amazing food and the service is always incredible! Last night was the icing on the cake,... my friend, boyfriend and I went for dinner and it was fairly busy. I expected a wait time to sit inside which I was more thanhappy to do, but we were seated almost right away. Our servers were so sweet and so attentive. The food was amazing. Every timeI go I get something new because I know it will be good no matter what. Our server even put a little "thank you for beingawesome" note on our receipt and it was just so sweet! Service was great and very quick, and the food was amazing! We got the Piggy Smalls sandwich and the BBQ Porker mac and cheese.... Their pulled pork BBQ sauce was very good without being too powerful and went beautifully both in the sandwich and the mac andcheese. The mac and cheese sauce was also kind of mild, but very rich and smooth. They put jalapenos on the dish, and it addedjust the right amount of kick without outweighing the smooth flavors of the meat and sauce. Their fries were also very good:crispy and not too salty. Great atmosphere. A little on the pricey side (for burgers), but I'd say it's worth it. We ordered The Grail and the Sunset... Rider. Both delicious! But what took the cake was the pickle fries! I want more! Read more
Excellent service Megan B. Da club was exceptional...one of the best clubs experienced. French fries were light and crispy with... no grease. Sampled my wife's Porker...also very tasty. Good portions for lunch. We're from out of town and would probably visitagain of were in the area. The drinks look awesome? Read more
