Good as always. The sandwich leaked through the paper, in about 20 seconds. Smoothies were great.
Short Version: Waste of money & time @ this location. Long version: Walked in today at about 8:00pm. They close at 9 so although... they may be annoyed and want to close, service needs to stay on top. I was with one other person & we each ordered a quesadilla& a smoothie. We immediately walked into a younger girl sitting on a chair on her phone (seemed to be eating something at thefront counter). She saw us and got up and walked to the back. A younger guy came up to take our order. No greeting or smile oranything of the sort. Not helpful with order questions. In the middle of us ordering he walked over to a different younger girljust sitting on a chair and started his own conversation. Overall attitude with workers. The staff was very polite and it was nice and cool inside, but the drink I had wasn't the greatest. I got a strawberry banana... smoothie and a Baja chicken wrap. there wasn't much taste to the smoothie and it could have had a bit more sugar in it, but itwas very big and the amount that you get is worth the money you pay. as for the wrap, I made the mistake of not reading the menuclosely enough before ordering my food and didn't realize that there would be avocado on the wrap (which I'm not a fan of atall), but even with the avocado it was still amazing! it was cooked perfectly and was just the right size for a late-afternoonsnack. overall it was a decent experience, and I will be back for food, but not for another smoothie. Wow, what is with these kids that work at these places now? You could be the nicest customer in the world and they still are... full of attitude and seem unpleased. I came here for lunch with my boyfriend and the short guy with glasses and a mustache inthe front had so much attitude and seemed like he hated working there. He had to change my order cause they didn't have passionfruit for the smoothie, and so we ordered another smoothie, and he was super irritated he needed to change the order cause thenew smoothie we ordered was 20 cents cheaper. The staff in the back was full of sarcasm and you could tell all of them wereannoyed. Wouldn't come here again. I'll try the other tropical smoothie on 45th, or maybe go to a different shop. My partner and I ordered from Tropical Smoothie tonight and we?re incredibly disappointed. I ordered a salad and none of the... toppings that were listed were on it, and it came without dressing. My partner got the jalapeño corn and the contents barelyeven covered the bottom of the container provided. The sweet potatoes were supposed to have a Maple glaze were undercooked andhad nothing on them. The only thing correct we?re the smoothies, which weren?t even that great. Read more
This used to be one of my favorite places. My son and I loved going here. Unfortunately, the last several visits I?ve been left... disappointed. I?ve continued to go because I love the food and smoothies, but I won?t be frequenting anymore. If there?s anissue with an order, they will not rectify it. You?re required to contact corporate. Which isn?t necessary half the time. Whenplacing an online order they don?t call if they?re out of ingredients. When you arrive, they won?t refund your money. If youonly have rice, ranch, and beans available.. call the customer, and confirm the order with them. ???????? Not impressed. Got here a few minutes after 9 am special price and wouldn't honor special. Then made smoothie with green banana... and it tasted awful. If you charge $6+ for a smoothie, then make sure your ingredients actually make something taste good. Read more
