Having a business you would think you would always, and I mean always carry yourself by being upfront honest and straight to the... point and not blowing smoke up people's you know what. you should be able to tell things as they are are be up front And honestand never waste anybody's time but unfortunately This is not so much the case here I will leave it at that . My last reviewthat I just edited here. I realized it was a very very badly worded review being as I was voice to texting while I did it. I amvoice to texting this one also so some of the punctuation is not here but at least the wording is correct. By the way Pam I willnot speak with you on this review , maybe just take this review as an eye opener and to Change the ways you interact with peopleand do things there, no matter what the scenario may be. Great place to eat outside of Faribault. Nice atmosphere, good food, and cold beer. What else do you need?

I recently stayed there while attending a high school reunion. The cabins are rustic and comfortable & the view of the lake is... outstanding. We had a lakeside cabin. wonderful location out I must say in the middle of nowhere. But that was part of thecharm. It is a combination rental cabin and RV campsite. We stayed in one of the cabins and the accommodations were quitesatisfactory. There is a restaurant bar combo on site that served excellent farm fresh wonderfully prepared meals at veryreasonable prices. I must make it a point to give a shout out to the service I received from everyone I encountered includingthe owner Pam. These people made you feel welcome. That kind of stuff makes a difference when people are truly just being nice.I would definitely recommend it and I would definitely stay there again if I'm ever in that part of the country. Read more

We visit Winjums regularly. My husband has been relatively satisfied with the prime rib. He has learned to accept it won't be... cooked as he orders. The rest of their menu is good though, especially fish. They also do a super creative I've job withvegetable options. A unique food is in their popovers instead of bread. Read more

They must have gotten a new cook since the last time we were there. We used to go here as a family ever since I was little. We... moved out of town and decided to come back for a visit and the food was lacking. We ordered a chicken sandwich and got onechicken tender between two buns which we were able to compare with someone else at the table that ordered the chicken tenderplatter and they were hardly breaded. Same chicken. For being "world famous" they could have been better. I've always gotten theapple crisp dessert at the end of my meal and even that was a disappointment. It came out in a bowl that looked like everythingwas put in the microwave. Another downfall was the loud music coming from the kitchen. It almost sounded like somebody wasthrowing a quinceanera back there. Appetizers were great but all they had to do is put them in a deep fryer as we orderedwontons and cheese curds. I may be rating slightly higher here because it was a great evening for me completely unrelated to the dining, but I was... impressed! Fries were crunchy and very tasty, my burger was excellent (juicy, spicy, delicious), and portions were enough tonot leave you wanting more, but also not "quantity over quality". Long story short, get the jalapeño poppers and burger if youactually like spice (they have a kick), but everyone said the food was delicious! Read more

Great service!!! I wish I would have gotten her name! we were a group of 10 (sat at 2 tables, of course, following the rules!)... My pasta wasn't great, it was dry, but I'm sure this isn't their normal. Everyone else loved their meals & they lookeddelicious! Appetizers were yummy! There is obviously a great chef behind the door! Back to the service, it was so great thatit didn't matter that my food wasn't awesome, I will return because the service was that great! Read more
