It’s time for me to stop being greedy and say that this is one of the best kept secrets in the Monmouth county area. I’ve... been to all the big sushi place Xina, Taka, Nobu, etc. This place is on par with or better than all of them. Everything was delicious and that was the best miso soup I’ve ever had! So happy you’re close.Thanks Update: Still loving this place! Tonight I tried the tuna cookie and it was incredible. I also found my new favoritesushi roll which is their futo maki. I’ve always loved egg custard although people never order it. I was so happy to try it ina roll. The entire roll is really good! Third time eating here. First time was take out the first week they opened. I was surprised how good it was. I returned with a... friend to eat at the restaurant. Staff were friendly and once again the food was very good. I went today for lunch and did notdisappoint. The yellowtail here is particularly better than pretty much all the other places I've gone to in the area(yellowtail is my favorite). The eel is also really good. The octopus wasn't quite as good as last time, but still easily beatsout everywhere else in the area. Fried gyoza was good. Texture and taste all indicate fresh quality. Can safely recommend thisto everyone and have been since the second time I went. It's good to have a dependable high quality option for sushi when not inthe mood to try new locations. 5/5 Read more
I’ve ordered takeout from here a couple times now and each time the food was excellent, very fresh, very tasty. They use... really nice, solid, large chunks of ingredients in their sushi — very satisfying when you’re looking for a filling meal. Theonly reason I have to give 4 stars instead of 5 is on one occasion when I ordered takeout online, when I came at the designatedpickup time, they had forgotten most of my order and only had the drink prepared. They were able to make my food quickly and Ionly had to wait about 5 minutes, but it is somewhat uncomfortable to have to wait in the first place. Still, I’ll be comingback because, as I said, the food is excellent, the prices are reasonable, and the location is very convenient to my house! Read more
Stopped in for a quick sushi lunch with my daughter and I can say that we will be back! We each had a spicy kani salad then... shared a spicy yellowtail roll, ichi roll and a Boston roll. The staff was attentive and the food was fresh and delicious. Read more

Sushi, with a side of SUSHI! We showed up to Ichi Sushi hungry and ready for a feast. We shared a pot of hot green tea with... hints of jasmine. For appetizers, we chose Steamed Pork Gyoza, Spring Rolls and Skewers of Scallops, Shrimp and Salmon toppedwith a teriyaki sauce. We then ordered the following rolls: Sunshine Salmon Avocado American Dream Tokyo Crazy Dragon Ocean RedDragon Green Tiger King Lobster Each roll was fresh, flavorful and delicious. Honestly, one of my favorite sushi spots in New Jersey. The staff is amazing, and so sweet. The food is fresh and delicious,... always on point! And they always present their food/sushi platters in such an adorable way! Also, try the jalapeño poppers,they’re amazing, I totally recommend them as an appetizer if you go!!
