Service was great, food was good. . I wrote that review a month ago. I would like to add to it. The first review was my first... time there. I went with a friend who was familiar with Woodys. Since then we've continued to go there often after golfing. WhenI said the service was great I was referring to one person since we sit at the bar and have lunch we are served by the samebartender. She is alway friendly, courteous I have noticed she is well liked by other customers also. Although we really likeeverything about Woodys she has represented it well. Now when we are going to lunch we say , " hope Dawn is there". Read more

I've been here several times and always loved the food. This last trip may have to be our last. There were so many flies, it... made it hard to eat. We notified our waitress and she said there's nothing they can do about it. (Ah yeah! How about flytraps) I ordered a burger with a salad instead of fries. The salad was warm. Ok. I still tried to eat. There were severalpieces in the salad that I was picking out because they were black, soggy, mushy, inedible pieces. One piece I could possiblysee being overlooked but I took out about 7 pieces. Needless to say I did not eat my salad. My husband got a burger. Theonions were not carmelized, barely cooked. The burger was barely cooked and he ordered well done. Very greasy. But his frieswere good. So we paid $40 for a burger I ate and fries he ate while working to beat the flies away. Cowboy fries are great! Pork roll sandwich was the best ever! Everything else including the service was just ok.

Wonderful place nestled in Famingdale not far from Manasquan reservoir and Allaire state park. Great wooded inside and outside... biergarden awesome Our waitress was friendly and attentive the food was delicious. From the tuna wraps burgers and wings not abad meal to be had. Worth a stop for sure. Read more
