The food is great, not really a place you want to sit down and eat but go for it if that's your thing. Price is about right for... these days.... It's a good deal. The person that helped me was very friendly. Read more

WOW! I have tried so many chain halal places on the island, but damn, I am so happy I tried this place. I couldn?t believe that... the best halal I?ve tried was from a convenience store, but this is my new go to halal place. The combo-over-rice is justsomething different here. Absolutely amazing food! I'm a little familiar w the owner and his son who helps to take care of customers. I work in the area and stop there to check... out eating vegan food. I have found various hot food delicious and the smoothies fresh and flavorful. The owner and his son helpme pick different meals and leave out certain things for me, as I have a sensitive stomach, and an allergy to dairy. Bur thefruit waters are delicious. Read more

Hearing a restaurant offered their own take on the Crazy Kabab Roll sweeping LI was enough to order from Tasty Halal Bites... shortly after their opening. The standout item was the Zinger Burger ($7) which featured a thick, freshly-cooked piece of breastwith a spicious breading seemingly made from chickpea flour. In sharp contrast to the Zinger was the Double Cheeseburger ($8),which had a good Desi-flavor profile but was overcooked, likely frozen and offered very little meat. Though visually similar tothe original it's based on, the Naan Kabob Roll with Cheese ($7) had gooey cheese and a perfectly-cooked seekh kabab that madeit a great munch for all though it didn't quite justify the price. With the fast delivery and general tastiness, we found TastyHalal Bites to be another mid-range eatery we can safely add to our list. Read more
