I came with my parents and we sat outside. It was a Friday night and the wait was only half an hour. They have a beautiful spot... near the water where you can sit in Adirondack chairs and bring a drink and relax and enjoy the view while you wait. I had theirberry salad and it was very good. My parents had the fish n chips and one of the burgers and they enjoyed it. All around it wasa great visit. Wood -N- Tap Farmington is by far their best location. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The Adirondack chairs mixed with a... beautiful view of the Farmington river. The food is always good & the cocktail meu has been elevated over the past few years.Highly recommend! If you have a larger party coming to this location, a reservation would be wise. Read more
By far the most beautiful Wood-n-Tap location! We were fortunate to snag a table on the grass next to the Farmington River, and... our lunch has stood out as one of the most scenic dates we’ve had! We ordered off of their limited-time summer menu and werevery happy with all of the options that were offered. Wood-N-Tap definitely captured summer flavors perfectly! The drinks,bruschetta, and mojito salad were so colorful and refreshing, and the steak was perfectly cooked. We thought the crispy rice wasa unique appetizer, and it was so yummy! Our lobster grilled cheese was packed with meat. It’s too bad we didn’t get to trythe strawberry shortcake because they were sold out, but that must mean it’s really good! We will 100% be back fo thislocation, and I really want to try dishes from their normal menu, because I saw some great choices. Read more
My medium rare steak was well done, and half the menu was unavailable for our party. This is a place to stick to a burger, the... chef's can't do much well beyond that. Views from the patio were great. It does get very very buggy at night. We had to leaveearly it was so bad. Read more

Went for dinner at 8:30. Had the fish&chips and a Ruben. Ruben was fine, fish was tough and dry. Wait staff is hard to judge.... It depends on my mood if I enjoy their personality. Tonight it just wasn't working for me. Seemed our drinks were emptylonger than I wanted and empty plates sat on the table too long. I would come back but would not get fish again. Read more
What a place.. The Wooden Tap took over the building that used to be the old apricots and they totally changed it for the best.... The building has been completely redone and modernize and then across from the building there is the river where they totallytransform the area into a bar and Gathering Spot. Completely cozy as well with andiron deck chairs and fire pits. The reallycool part of that presentation is that they turned the Farmington River red for Yelp! We were served sliders two types of nachosbeef and chicken and a cute serving of mac and cheese. We finished the evening off with cupcakes and or provided cozy fleeceblankets. Read more
My partner and I go to EVERY single Wood N Tap; I will say this is the BEST ONE!!! Not only was the ambiance great, staff were... extremely pleasant, and the food was phenomenal! I had no idea what to drink, and our waitress helped me pick, and it wasEXACTLY what I was craving. They have wonderful igloos outside of you still want to be outside.
