Best tasting sandwichs that I have eaten. I especially like Dogwoods Afternoon Snack and the Italian sub.
10/14/22 - I returned to town from Knoxville, make it to a good friend's wedding. 'Lo & behold the Dagwoods Deli sandwich shop... is still standing after COVID-19 of 2019-21. I honestly thought the higher prices would have been this place's demise longago. But alas, here it is after all this time, just as I remembered. The staff are super nice & the interior is always clean.I just can't get over paying $10-20 for a sandwich I could toast at home...with effort. Maybe if they offered group, or mailerdiscounts I would come here more often, because I can afford Jimmy John's & Subway when they mail coupons to our house. Read more

Great Sandwich shop. I had a hot pastrami sandwich everything about it was great.
I wish I would have brought the coupon for this place to save a little on their pricy half sandwiches. I got half of a ham and... swiss on pumpernickel with mustard and mayo. $8.50. Add a 16 oz drink and rice crispy square dessert brought the total to over$15. You only get $2.50 off of a full sandwich. They do have a much larger menu than most regional and national chains, but thesandwiches are just a little better. Not worth the price. Read more
Fantastic sandwich! We had the "Midnight Snack". I say we, because my wife and I had to share it. So good! The only way to make... it better would be to add some bacon. Next trip we had the #13 & #14. Both were great, the #14 was better. Read more
