Great food. I have never had better fried okra! They were out of brisket, and the ribs were OK. Ice cream included?!?! YES!

BAM!!! Holy mackerel this place was amazing. I drove an hour out of my way to eat there again. The ribs are to die for. The... potato w bbq is fantastic. I live in kc and will figure a way to get back. Biggest fan here !!! Oh the reason for the twophotos of the paper towels. One before one after. A mess made in heaven. The amazing flavor of the ribs necessitated theliberal use of sauce. However the ribs did not need a dang thing. Dexters is a great place to eat. I've had about everything on the menu and love it all. Best BBQ around, the meat is so tender... and delicious. You won't leave hungry that's for sure. It's clean and the service is great. I highly recommend eating there. Read more

I enjoyed my meal, definitely filled me up! Wish i would?ve known that the ?fried corn? was corn on the cob lol, regardless it... was delicious. I got the brisket melt it was also great. My only complain would be that the baked beans i ordered were mostlysauce barely beans. id say like 20-30% beans unfortunately but they were also amazing just wish there was more beans less sauce.I give a strong 8/10. Decent smoke flavor on the ribs, but the lack of a flavorful bark necessitated the use of sauce. This isn't normally too much of... a problem, but the liquid smoke added to some of the sauces overpowered the real smoke flavor on the meat itself. Food portionsizes were okay, though the teenagers in my party stated they thought the portion size on the BBQ nachos was somewhat small incomparison to other barbecue restaurants.
