I usually go here and get great service but today I was being served by a new lady who doesn’t have basic customer service... skills acquired. I was also told she was in training so I thought to be extra kind and patient however, she mistakenly didn’tget my meal order because she assumed me and my partners saw sushi to share was my meal. He got serviced his food while I satand waited about 20 minutes before even getting an egg drop soup that comes w the lunch special I ordered. Meanwhile we sattrying to get her attention as she was scrolling through her phone. She also failed to give silverware upon serving us and wegot a rude individual whom took the payment passive aggressively. Seemed like the place had changed from 4+ stars to a zeroovernight. Regardless of how busy the restaurant is they give you 45+ minute wait for delivery. This is the last time time we patronize... this establishment. We placed an order on the app, and it said it was accepted. The time was 18:55. Our ETA was 19:40. An hourpasses (now it 19:55), so we call in, immediately without getting a word in we were placed on hold. We sit on hold for 10minutes and are hung up on. We call again, and the phone immediately goes to voicemail. This is terrible customer service! Idon't even want the food anymore, I just want to cancel my order! If you decided to order from Mikasa, be prepared for longwaits with terrible customer service. Read more
Mikasa is always 4 stars for me. The service was great the food was delicious. Ordered the orange chicken for the first time and... it was what I was expecting plus more not just in serving but taste. I also ordered a spider roll and a las vegas roll, theywere both fresh and delicious! Read more
I ordered for delivery and received the food quickly. The delivery driver stated she was having problems with my card. Tried 3... times. The last time- it supposedly went through but her machine wouldn’t print a receipt. Checked my account and I wascharged 3 times. I called Mikasa right away but no one could do anything until the owner came in. 45 minutes later- no one hadcalled back. I called again. No owner- no satisfaction. I guess I am out $73 for a $30 meal. Never again. I guess the deliverydriver wanted a big tip. Read more
If I could rate a 0 I would. I had ordered food at 7:31 on a Saturday night, the app said it would be at my location at 8:17 and... around 8:30 I was thinking they were busy as the app did say it could take longer. About 8:45 I looked up what time they close,the website said 9 so I call to make sure they aren’t going to cancel my order when they close and the lady that I was talkingto reassured me that they would not do that and that the delivery driver was on his way bringing me my food but how she knewthat I wasn’t sure because she didn’t even ask my name or what order I had placed. Not to mention my boyfriend had alreadycalled once before me asking the same questions. Once again they close at 9 and it’s currently 10:15 and I’m still waitingon an order that I’m sure is not showing up by now. Not that Mikasa workers know this and probably can’t read minds butI’m pregnant working as a server right now and just want some good food. I’ve never eaten here but wanted to try it….I’m so disappointed, truly I’m very hurt that I’m still not sure if they’re even going to show up with my food and theyjust got held back or if I’m not going to get it at all. The food is excellent and the staff is fast and attentive. Usually our sushi ???? stop.
Below average Japanese food. The udon noodle soup tasted too sweet, the vegetarian tempura too greasy and tasting like old oil.
Man I used to love this place. But tonight I did a pick up order. It was ready in under 15 min so I know they were not busy. My... side order of rice was missing and my under cooked las vegas roll (tempora was extremely light and soggy) had a metal piecesticking out of it???? Read more
