Amazing food, quick, unique, decently reasonably priced at least for how good it is. My reasoning for 4 stars is cause of the... portions, they?re so inconsistent. Half the time you?ll get a super light container of chicken, that wouldn?t feed a child.Other half, you?ll get more chicken than you can eat in a sitting. I would give 3.5 stars - Chicken itself is okay, I wouldn't say it's fully Korean chicken. It tastes more between Korean and... American style. On the pricer side for fast food, but worth trying it at least once. I tried regular chicken, chicken sandwich,and the strip. Out of the three, the chicken sandwich was the best. The spicy is quite spicy, so you might want to consider thatbefore you order. The general atmosphere of the place is bright and clean, about 20-30 seats available indoors. Read more
Their Korean style fried chicken is AMAZING!!! We had it first in NYC! I always get the wings with soy garlic and hubby gets the... spicy legs. Both were awesome and extra crispy! This time we got sides in NYC we only eat the chicken. I got the street corn andhe got seasoned fries. The corn was really tasty and the fries were fries nothing spectacular. They are now only taking in person orders, which is fine, was told about 40-45 mins. It ended up took more than an hour to get... our food. Okay, we saw the previous reviews so we were prepared for the wait. Given they are a bit pricy and the long wait, weexpect the chicken be super delicious. However, when we finally got our food, they were all COLD. And they only gave me one sidewhen it should be two as listed on the receipt. Yes indeed, the skin was very crispy even the chicken was already cold, to theextent we need to bite really hard to get it off, and the inside chicken is very dry, not tender or juicy at all, on top ofthat, it?s cold, I feel like I was eating a rock?Spicy flavor is really really spicy so be prepared for that, and soy garlic isvery very salty, I was drinking water the whole night after ate them. We ended up throwing away some spicy chicken. We alsoordered the fried glass noodle with beef, surprised how small the bowl is. Wait well worth it! I was ecstatic when I found out Bonchon was opening close by as I missed the great fried chicken I had in... Korea. It was quite a long wait to get my food but that is expected as they are still new as of 12/29/21 but the service wasexcellent. The food came out great perfect and crispy, the sauce is fantastic as well. For those looking for an actually spicywing this is the place to go. I look forward to trying more of the items on the menu my next visit. Read more
