A small restaurant with lots of options to order. We got dinner combination #2 ($10.99),#13 ($10.99), and a Mole Poblano... ($10.99), and a Pina Calada (non alch $3.99). This was my first time visiting this location, and I have to say I'm really disappointed. Usually, I eat at the Waterford... location, and I'm always impressed by their quick service and delicious food. It's the reason I tried this location near myoffice. I rarely get an hour for much, so when today worked out that way, I was excited to go out and have a sit-downmeal. Unfortunately, it wasn't a good use of my time at all. The service was just okay, except for the cashier at the end ofmy meal. She was friendly and amazing. The food...ugh, where to start? I ordered the lunch fajitas with steak. Any time I'veordered fajitas at any of their locations, I got fresh vegetables and beautiful, savory meat, still sizzling in a cast ironskillet as it is brought to my table. What was brought to my table was not only just on a plate, but it was so unappetizinglooking - I wasn't sure it was even my food. Maybe they don't make that fuss for lunch service, I don't know. What I do know isthat while the flavor was good, the steak was chewy and had a lot of gristle. It seemed overcooked but also rested in its ownstrange meat slurry. There were a few onions and bell peppers, but they were scant. The fajita insides were sitting on somethingI noticed as I moved my fork around the plate... a bed of what were now soggy tortilla chips. Why were they there? Was it tomake it look like there was more food than there was? The guacamole looked...odd. Kind of a greenish-brown hue. The refriedbeans were watery, as was the pico. Maybe that's part of what created the slurry? The starter of chips and salsa wasn't evengood. The chips were stale. I don't like complaining about restaurants. Truly. Hands down best authentic Mexican food around. Very helpful and generous staff. Family owned business that takes pride in... cleanliness, taste and friendliness. Never had to wait along time for my food, even when it's busy, the most I've ever waitedwas 10mins. However, they won't let you substitute and The prices are really high. You have to pay separate for beans and ricefor some of the dinners and it's over $3 a piece. They don't have the option together for a little cheaper. So I can't treatmyself to the food as often as I'd like. I'd give it five stars if it was cheaper... Read more

It is what it is. The marg is a premix, but its strong. The food is simple. But its so good. Salsa comes in a bowl and it has a... kick. Staff is as friendly as they need to be. A little too bright for my tastes, and they didnt waste too much time on thedecor. But there is a full bar and you wont be disappointed when you get the check. I've driven past El Patio a thousand time commuting from work to home. With this being my first time visiting, my biggest regret... is those thousand missed opportunities! The food was great!
