We've always heard of this place, but finally decided to visit after seeing their Facebook post that they were permanently... closing Aug. 6, 2022. The retro decor was really neat and the night we visited they had live music, a banjo player and amandolin player. That was fun and unique. They staff was friendly, but the service was a bit slow. Our family of six (4 kids, 2adults) ordered dinner (burgers, BLTs, chicken tenders, etc.) along with one scoop of ice cream each for dessert. The food wasok. My hamburger was overdone and burnt on the edges. The ice cream, however, was very good. Before tip the bill was over $80(more than $13 per person) which seemed a little high. Overall it was a fun one-time experience, but I doubt we would make thedrive again, even if they weren't closing. Read more

Really cute 50's themed diner. Friendly servers, great burgers and fresh cut fries. Breakfast burger with bacon and fried egg... was delicious! One of our favorite spots when visiting. Read more

First time there. Flies were here too. Waited almost an hour for food and no one even checked on us during that time?

We tried the grilled tenderloin and the 50-50 burger (bacon/hamburger mixed) with onion rings. They we both delish. The service... is good, friendly staff. The coke cola was a little off flavor. Over all I think this is a must stop when you're in the area!Keep up the good food and service! Read more

We were disappointed. We have been there several times in the past before pandemic and no problems. This time we got seated fast... and got our drink and all booths were filled but one. I liked that every other booth and all bar stools were closed because ofcovid19. They have two dinning rooms. I th Ink the back room may be for parties since we have not been seated there ever. After30 minutes we were frustrated no food was being served in our room . Two servers were taking care of the back room. At 48minutes our server went to each table and apologized and offered a scoop of free ice cream. We thanked her and ask for our bill. After about 5 minutes she came back and said our food was ready so Hubby decided to stay. We were served first when everyoneelse was there before us except one couple. My husband said to me so you just need to ask for your check to be served? We feltbad that others had to wait even longer but soon all had food. He had the Big Pig which he said was ok not up to usual quality.I had a cheeseburger and fries . My burger was overcooked and dry. My fried were a bit too crispy. The floors and restroom weredirty. 5 people behind the counter one working the grill , our server waiting on all customers and 3 just standing togethertalking. The food and wait is not worth the frustration my advise go else where or maybe just go if not busy for ice cream. Read more

Fantastic... server was attentive and helpful. This delicious and filling sandwich has a specific name I can't remember, but is... American cheese shredded cheddar, and mozzarella sticks. The side is extra $ but the pickle chips were fantastic. Read more
