Excellent food and service. Love the setting reminds me of eating at restaurants when I was a kid! Awesome down home feeling... that doesn?t feel too crowded. I have the cheesesteak sandwich and it was very good. Everything was fresh. Waitresses are allvery nice and the owner puts forth a lot of effort to do an excellent job. Highly recommend if you?re looking for a comfort foodlocation. Very diverse menu as well? Ice cream bar is awesome!! Read more
The restaurant was nice. The food was just ok and the portions were way too small. We ordered the fish dinner and got only one... tiny piece of fish. We left and got hamburger at McDonald's. Read more
A very nice place to have a good meal. A cozy booth or an open table with options to be by a big windowed room or a booth with... some privacy. The staff are great. Friendly and attentive. Overall a good place to grab a bite. I recommend breakfast also.Always a good breakfast there. Read more

Today was my first time eating at Merk?s Place in Farmville VA. All the wait staff are very friendly, and there are some... humorous signs in this restaurant. I liked my salad, and it had loads of cheddar cheese. The menu has quite a large selectionof meal choices, and I even splurged by getting a slice of delicious coconut cake! Read more
