Don't know what happened to this place but they used to be hoppin' and very good food. Now they have a DJ that plays really old... country music. (No one on the dance floor). On a Friday night, there were literally about 15 people in the entire bar and as thenight went on, no one else comes in, but people do leave...Also, I ordered Friday fish and chips and the fish was frozenpatties, coleslaw tasted expired. The only thing great in the bar was the Bartender/Waitress/Cook-Yep! She does it all! I wish Icould remember her name because she was a wonderful host! Read more

Bonds DJ's Lounge in Farwell is the definition of your neighborhood watering hole. You know, that place you always frequent... because the staff and owners know your name, and remember your drink! This place has been my go to spot whenever I visit mylittle ole hometown. I normally wouldn't recommend a bar for it's food, but they actually have really good food. Black Angusburgers, appetizers and the best barbeque pork sandwich in the area. Happy hour specials run every day from 11 am to 6 pm andthey offer evening drink deals during the week. About DJs: The main bar is long, with seating at the bar and at tablesthroughout the lounge. There are two pool tables, keno and darts, as well a large dance floor for dancing. The center of thelounge has a stage for live music and a big screen for sporting events. DJ's is a popular place among hunters and snowmobilesin the cold season, as well as those traveling to Michigan's winter festivals like Tip Up Town. During the summer the weekendersfrom down state and tourists flock to this small city filled with several local lakes. My cousin and I stopped in this small town bar and had a blast. Cute place, had a dance floor and a stage with a guy playing... guitar and singing he was very good. I don't play pool but for the people that do they had two pool tables. Met the owner and hewas very nice! Will definitely be going back.
