This place is a gem. We got the bottle of white wine, grapefruit sangria which lasted the whole dinner and was very tasty. We... realized later that doing that probably saved us at least $30 rather than my wife getting 2 glasses of wine and me drinking 2different bourbon mixed drinks. For food we got the fried grits which were rich, creamy, crunchy and amazing. Then we got theBork, Bork, Bork. I was completely overwhelmed by all the positive reviews, so decided to go for a dinner date with my husband. It was a Friday... evening, and the place was packed. Fortunately we got our table. The place is small, and somehow looks a bit clumsy to me withso many decors. The lighting is such that the environment looks a bit depressing! The server lady was cool and happy faced. Iordered a refreshing cocktail, that was the best one in the entire dinning experience at this place. The appetizer was pigglywiggly. The dish looks good, with a small portion size. But the meat was pretty tough and chewy. It was served with some pickledvegetables, that was very good. I ordered their famous KFC. The chunks of fried chicken, tossed with some sweet and sour saucewas good. They were served with some yellow rice and bean sprout salad - those were mediocre. The worst experience was with thesecond entree that my husband ordered. It was the lamb with some potato. The potatoes were fairly good, but the lambs weresmelly and undercooked. He had to struggle to cut the meat with the knife given. It was totally disappointing and he had tothrow the second piece of meat away. Fabulous place tucked in next to a laundromat, which only adds to its charm. LL may have given my wife and me our best dining... experience in Fayetteville. We shared the K.f.c., Mel?s Diner, trout, soup, and salad. Everything was delicious to include ourdrinks. We will be back! Read more
