I came here with a friend to celebrate my birthday, mostly because we wanted a place with baklava. When we arrived we found it... to be the most charming atmosphere filled with Mediterranean music and an outdoor seating area filled with plants and flowersset away from the business of the street. Inside the restaurant is a delightful gift shop. The food was amazing. My jasmine teawas so aromatic and flavorful I didn?t need to add any honey or sugar like I usually do. Great Mediterranean place! My husband and I tried the chicken kabob and curry chicken kabob. We both thought the curry chicken... kabob was by far the best! The hummus was so different from standard fare - I don?t know what spices they used but we lovedit! Enjoy some iced mint tea with your meal. So refreshing!! There was a cute little gift shop attached with some really coolitems. We will definitely be going back often! Read more

Great food and great service! I enjoyed the Sultan Pita gyro: beef and lamb great on an open faced pita with taziki, cucumber,... olives, feta, and lettuce, and a side of fries. I'll definitely try something else on the menu next time I'm in town. Read more
Josh and I (Andi) have been coming to Tangiers for over 12 years and we have always left 100% satisfied. The food is incredible.... It?s safe to say it?s our favorite restaurant in America. Hamza, the owner, is extremely kind and hospitable; the staff isalways the sweetest. Although we?ve moved away from NW Arkansas, we make a point to stop here for a meal whenever we visit orpass through. My son and I had to come to Fayetteville for business. We stopped at Tangiers to grab a bite for lunch. No regrets! It was very... good! I had the lamb and beef gyro sandwich. It was huge!
