Normally the service is excellent. However, the last time my friend and I dined there, our server, Stephanie, was very... inattentive. She was much more interested in serving the young man seated behind us. The free pies she gave us were a joke, verysmall pieces and no crust. She really should treat all of her customers with the same attention that she gave to the young man.The food that day was excellent. I will never sit in her section again. This place is good, the VIB is excellent. Free pie Wednesdays....they don't do the lemon pie/monthly pie/nor cream pies anymore... for free which is very very disappointing and what's even more tragic is the PB cup pie is gone. This place has a cute dinerfeel, better than Denny's. The turkey sandwich I had today didn't have all the toppings it was supposed to , so I thought they'djust bring those two on a plate instead they took my Sandwich away and like touched it I think so I'm like ????why go throughall that and make me wait a long time . Thank goodness for VI!! I wanted a simple, good Breakfast. And I got it! 2 scrambled eggs, 2 ???????? bacon, 2 ???? pancakes,... served at perfect temperature. Under $10 for plate. Absolutely 20%+ tip service, and lots of water. Thank you all for a greatexperience. Read more
Great as always. Two notes: 1) ham steaks are generous in portion; 2) the latest lemon meringue pies are killer! You can't go... wrong. A local staple that is very consistent and excellent. Read more
Pretty standard Village Inn experience. The food is ok. It?s a little more expensive than I remember and certainly compared to... IHOP. The service was excellent. It was pretty open, not many folks there, so we got the attention of a couple of servers. Weusually go once every couple of years and then remember that there are a lot of better options. Read more
I ordered a breakfast/ brunch bowl through Uber eats. It was sent perfectly, and carefully. It was the kitchen sink bowl, and it... had the layers of baked potatoes, spinach, bell peppers, meat, scrambled eggs, topped with cheese crust. Overall, a proteinrich, high calorie yum! It?s a must try if you are very hungry. The portion size was also too much for a single person to eat.Easily two people can share a bowl. Read more
Best breakfast place I've eaten at in a long time. Everything is very clean, the staff is very friendly. Example:. I just got... off at 5am and had to walk to my hotel, a storm came and I wa soaking wet, when I came in dripping wet, they cared more about methan there seats getting wet. Just moving to NWA we do not know really anything yet. Seen this place had good reviews and seeing the parking lot packed was a... good sign that it was a good restaurant. Was not disappointed. Neveah was are waitress and was amazing. Super friendly and madeus feel welcome. Had are granddaughter with us and made her feel like she belonged there.
