I walked in as a first time customer tonight at 7:50pm. I checked this location?s hours online before my arrival which indicated... they closed at 9pm. The same hours are reflected on the entry. However they were closed prior to 8pm. No explanation as to whythey were closed just a very rude ?closed? from a guy behind the counter holding a phone but not actively speaking to someone.Sometimes a gentle explanation and/or apology would go far as you never know what distance someone has traveled & how many otherrestaurants were passed to patron your establishment. On veterans day this establishment offered a free sandwich. Upon going to get the offer the door was locked. They said it was... for catering and would open the doors later in the day. Upon returning to the restaurant to get my free sandwich after 6 likethe posted sign said they still had the door locked. Pretty pathetic for not being prepared with staffing to offer veterans theoffer advertised and keep putting them off. Read more

I used the tracker to track my food preparation. It took about 20mins. Once it finally said it was ready. I get my food and it... was freezing cold. I ignored that! And just popped it in the microwave. So I?m eating my sandwich. Then I see something plastic.Sticking out as I took a bite. I pull the piece of plastic. It was a wide piece of plastic in my sandwich. This is my second time in 6 months coming to this restaurant, and the owner/manager remembered me and was super accommodating... for my off menu order.I ordered Mac and cheese and bbq chicken on a baked potato and it was fantastic. My wife ordered thepulled pork sandwich and was also very impressed. The restaurant was clean and running smoothly despite the manager being theonly one in the building. Refreshing to see great team work and hospitality. The turkey was scrumptious sliced prefect. Ooooo brisket loaded baked potato... was prefect, brisket sandwich with waffle fries so delicious. I just can?t get enough of Dickeys the atmosphere, hospitality,cleanliness, fresh brew tea snd the best BBQ in this area. Had the brisket and rib meal. Meat fall off the bone...wanted a tad bit more seasoning but they were good. The brisket was... really tasty. The okra however was the star of my plate. I also enjoyed the potatoes casserole. The staff was extremely friendlyand welcoming. I would def come back. Read more
