5 stars across the board! My friend & I dined at La Fayette's bon temps for lunch today & oooooooooweee it was good!! The... restaurant is located in the city center of Fayetteville with free parking (always a plus). The ambience & decor was nice, ithad a great vibe. Our server Shelly was fantastic! We both ordered the Nola Hurricane to drink - yummy & fruity with a sneakykick to it. For lunch, we both ordered the Big D's Baskets & both enjoyed them. I had the combo - catfish & fried oysters with aside of onion rings & spinach. Man-o-man, it was delicious! Everything was hot & fresh & cooked to order. The oysters were friedto perfection, not hard & not too soft. The catfish was flaky & hot, just like I like it. The spinach was surprisingly verygood! Some places will give you unseasoned or watery (pre-frozen) spinach, but not La Fayette's bon temp! No ma'am! Great food &great prices, I will be back. Laissez le bon temps rouler! Read more
I was in the area and decided to give LaFayette's a try. Once I arrived, I realized that I'd been there a few years back. The... staff was welcoming and attentive. I ordered the side salad without tomatoes and the catfish and shrimp basket with coleslaw.Other than my catfish being a little but greasy, the meal was good. Read more

This place was amazing!!!! I had driven an hour to meet friends at Gocha's down the street but it was NYE so they were closed.... Lucked up on this spot. No one was inside because everybody was gearing up for their night blast. So we got the best service.All attention on us. And the food was delicious! Can't wait to go back. Read more

I'm Gonna Tell You Right Now... If you go on a Thursday early afternoon you will get some of the best service you've ever had... from an Amazing lady named Ally! I live in Marietta, and one of my best friends lives up the road in Riverdale and I was overdueto treat him for his birthday. We picked that spot due to the already great reviews but Ally really took it to another level.Her service, her kindness, and attention to detail and generosity to us on a special occasion is something I will talk about fora very very long time. She made us this amazing birthday shot, she gave us dessert, and she made us feel so welcome... I willonly go back when shes there because Im huge on customer service. The food truly does speak for it self! We started with theBoudin Balls & Gator Bites (not pictured), because yes! They were that scrumptious! Then, because they were so good and I knew Iwanted Gumbo, I got the big bowl with a side of fries & My friend got the combo w/ sweet potato waffle fries ???? Bussin acrossthe board...
