Great atmosphere, good menu. We often order takeout, but recently dined in-person for our wedding anniversary... it's casual... but not super-casual. Pretzel bite app was amazing. Great selection of beers on tap. Our entrees were excellent. Great tohave a place like this in our village and I hope they enjoy many more years of success. One tip: if ordering takeout, use thephone. Their online order platform is OK, but it's very hit-or-miss on what time your order will be ready... I've often had ittell me 45 minutes, only to get a text 20 minutes later to say the food's ready, but I hadn't even left the house to go pick itup yet, because I was expecting 45 minutes. If you call on the phone, they will give you a more accurate time. PS - If you'renew to the area, yes, there is some parking out front but I'd recommend going around to the back. First let me say we were There 9/17 around 4:30 ish and it was great. Our server was awesome, she had a great personality... excellent service, ( I even wrote down her name and can't find it) she had long brown hair, ponytail. Just made you feelwelcome!! food was really good. That said... we went yesterday and I swear I looked around like is this the same place? Ourserver Nikki W had an attitude from the second she seated us. I should have expected something when I saw the back of her shirtsaid "shut up and eat your burger" Now, If she had been nice and had any kind of personality that probably would have made melaugh. Any way we had asked her if an item on the menu was good ... she got this annoyed look on her face and never evenanswered us!? The food wasn't much better than her. A buddy brought me here for lunch and I couldn't have been happier that he did. We split a few apps for lunch and they were... amazing. We went with the poutein so mean and some wings. The poutein was amazing and the portion was ridiculously large. Thewings were equally as good and the portion fir price was good. The beer selection was very good but unfortunately I didn't geta drink this time. I can't wait until I'm back in the area to try some more tasty food. Read more
I came looking for good food and this place didn't disappoint. It was a little crowded and multiple employees walked by while we... waited to be seated without acknowledging us and we waited a while for our check. But other than that the service was friendlyand accurate with our modifications. This is not a quiet place for an intimate meal. So be prepared to enjoy the boisterous baratmosphere which is very clean and family friendly. Read more
Haven't been back to this restaurant in quite some time but decided to give it a try. My wife and I were not disappointed. ... Ordered a cocktail each with a huge burger for myself and huge brisket Cesar salad. Both were outstanding and the price is veryreasonable. The atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant being in the early afternoon. An added bonus was, we could watch thewomen's college world series on many various TVs around the restaurant. Amazing food a nice atmosphere! The brisket poutine in my picture was so good and they let me substitute tater tots for the... fries which made it even better. The korean beef taco was pretty big i wasn't expecting it to be and the flavors were awesome! Read more
Great replacement for the former Hullar's that occupied this space for a century. Great food , awesome wait staff in a good... location with a decent amount of parking out back, but in a pinch on street parking is often available as well. " Sign on thedoor noting " national labor shortage " and asking for your patience but on our visit it wasn't an issue at all. Slightlydifferent vibe (little more upscale feeling to me) from the East Syracuse location ( which I love). You will find great foodand people at both places. Read more
Had a great time. Seated quickly and the server was quick to come to table and introduce themselves. Took our drink order and... asked about appetizers. Came back with drinks all were correct. We placed our meal orders. They came out in a decent time frameand all came out just as we ordered. All hot and fresh prices were very good. Desserts were awesome. Had a great time and youcan carry on a conversation without having to shout made for a great experience. Definitely worth going to and we will dinethere again. Read more
