The Garlic Butter Oysters were great. The steam bag with crableg cluster, shrimp, potatoes, corn and egg was good. I added a... cluster and asked for Old Bay seasoning on the side. The Old Bay gave it more flavor. The clusters were missing legs andsomewhat small, but I was given 3 to make it up. My waitress was great and accommodating. Hook & Reel is a great seafood and bar. There are a lot of televisions for the games if you want to watch. I ate at the bar so... service was fast. The Old Fashioned made with Bullit was fantastic. The calamari appetizer was good and a rather big portion.Shrimp po boy was excellent with the shrimp cooked perfectly. It came with fries and was also a big portion. There was a good amount of parking available. We were greeted and seated promptly. The staff was friendly and explained the... menu, along with the specials of the day thoroughly. The atmosphere was clean and inviting. I loved the decor and music. Therewas also plenty of seating inside. The best part was the food! The portion sizes were larger than expected and really good. Absolutely love Hook n Reel! Definitely will keep visiting! Between 2 people we got 6 Steamed Garlic Butter Oysters! They didn't... last very long, so delicious! The garlic butter can be a bit salty but other than that was amazing! Then we got The Reel Catchand we chose 2 Crab Leg Clusters, 1lb of Crawfish and 1lb of Head On Shrimp, we got it in Cajun mild spice and oh mygoodness!!!!! Out of this world! I also added some broccoli to ours. Sweet tea is great also! Everything was amazing! If youhaven't tried this place, you have got to as soon as you can! Can be a bit pricey but it all depends on what you get, and theportions definitely make up for it. We had plenty of left overs to take home! Service was outstanding as well!
