MiCatias is amazing! Everyone knows that. But the homeless folks are getting out of hand at Grove Street. I wish something could... be done. Earlier this week a woman was walking through the parking lot trying to open car doors as well as a man standing by theentrance door with a cardboard sign asking for money. I'm pretty sure I will limit my visits to daylight hours from now on. Read more

Good service, okay food. The serving guy was on the ball, which is nice to see. But the food was okay, and no better. The... shrimp quesadilla had three ingredients: shrimp, cheese, a tortilla. That's it. No onions, no peppers, no, anything else. Iopened it up to look and make sure. Like it was made by a 12 year old, who, that's all they knew how to do. "Shrimpquesadilla? Okay," handful of shrimp, handful of cheese, done. And, this is a minor point, but I think it would be better notserving anything before the meal rather than putting out the chips and salsa they did. It's expected now, and they're free, butone try of that and I said to myself that this did not bode well for the meal. Some of the worst salsa I've ever had, and badchips. People who can't tell the difference between good and bad Mexican food would like the place fine, but I would trysomewhere else. Read more

Where to start? Positives include quick service, friendly staff and the rice bowl tasted like Mexican comfort food. Negatives... include being greeted at my car by a crazy, homeless(?) Person who made appearances inside the restaurant too and kept askingpeople to buy pesos or her food. The fajita did not come out sizzling and tasted like it was fried in oil. The sangria did nothave fruit, tasted like red wine with triple sec. I ordered the rice bowl thinking it would be a relatively healthier option, didn't know it would have some sort of cream sauce and loaded with cheese, it was tasty just not what I wad expecting. Always.a great time at Mi Casita, any location. This time I went to the Grove St location. I had the Fajita trio (steak, chicken... and shrimp). It was lunchtime and they had quite a few customers. Not crowded, but they had good business. I love Mi Casita.I've been going there for over 20 years. Read more
