I really do like the food and vibe here but I mostly get food to go and the takeout containers aren't very practical for... bringing food home. Paying $18 for pasta is already a bit steep for the portion you receive but tossing it into a cardboard boxthat doesn't seal makes it hard to justify paying that. I'm all for eco friendly containers but they need to make sense for thefood that's being taken away. The side dishes also don't come with lids and spill inside the sandwich box that also doesn't sealwell. Read more
Excellent coffee. Sadly arrived between 11 and 12n. No food available at the counter but did buy some housemade English... muffins. Ate two when I got home! Read more
Lovely coffee shop/cafe with indoor and patio seating. Lots of deli, wines, snacks and things you never knew you needed in the... cafe store. Friendly helpful staff. Reasonable prices. Recommended. Read more
Was here 8/13 at noon. The staff are soooo unorganized. I'm surprised this restaurant has been around for several years. The... staff don't know the menu. Table of six, orders were wrong, food delivered all different times. Chicken salad was nothing buthuge chunks of iceberg lettuce. I ordered a croissants and was told to pick it up at the coffee bar, my Friend ordered acroissant and was given hers immediately at the front counter. The gal that I ordered the croissants from just sat therewatching me wait for my pastry. Didn't follow up with staff, nothing. I had to ask staff for it. There was no one in line atthis point. No flow of information from the counter to the coffee bar. My croissant was good, and I enjoyed my coffee. Read more
Use of plastic ware is unacceptable, plastic is for picnics not restaurants! Bland chicken salad. Wilted lettuce greens served... Absolutely Plain (not even a dash of oil & vinegar). Iced carmel latte had no flavor. Brownie under baked and tasted like froma box mix! The bacon quiche was good. Way Overpriced for what they are serving! Drove from downtown Raleigh to enjoy a nicebrunch, was Very Disappointing!!! Read more
Wonderful outdoor seating, even a tent so we can be comfortable. The food is delicious. I had the chicken salad with greens.... Yummy I would definitely get it again. They are short-staffed, and had problems today with service. That was the only downside.I will go back. I went for lunch today, beautiful day we sat outside. I had the green goddess salad. This is a niche little place! The environment and the ambiance is beautiful. I ordered the fish and chips and the fries were... delicious! The fish could of used more flavor on the batter however the tartar sauce that was provided was delicious! The foodis a little price and there is not actual waiter/waitress service. Overall good experience and definitely recommended people totry it. Read more
Great coffee. Food service is slow and lacks organization. Multiple parties who ordered after us received their food well before... we did. What we received was definitely not worth the wait. Will stick to coffee and tea in the future. Read more
