Azteca is my favorite Mexican restaurant of all time! We used to frequent the Portland Oregon, Lloyd Center location until it... closed because of rent increases. That was the beginning of the end for Lloyd center. It's now mostly vacant! Anyway, we finallymade it to the Federal Way location & it did not disappoint. Service was attentive without being annoyingly over friendly. Food was fresh & tasted the same as we remember. Restaurant was clean & appealing. Come back to Portland Oregon Azteca & Ramosfam! We had a delicious dinner here with friends tonight. The Carne Asada and Shrimp Enchiladas were fantastic. Everything was hot... and full of flavour and the steaks were perfectly cooked. I highly recommend having a Sangria Bellini. The restaurant isn't toonoisy and is filled with beautiful art and chandeliers making it a good setting for a date. The staff was friendly and theservice was excellent we'll definitely be back. One of our friends had a cheeseburger and said it was also really good. Read more
Huge portion sizes, classic chips and salsa, and a great menu selection. We ending up getting the shrimp and steak fajitas,... chimichanga, and non-alcoholic piña colada - all full of flavor, served with side of rice, refried beans, and add-ons. Serviceis delightful, the staff are all super friendly and attentive to tables. Looking forward to coming back. Read more
So I'm going to start by saying that the food was so bad that I do not plan on going back unfortunately. However, it didn't feel... right to give less than 3 stars because our waitress was really wonderful. Drinks were good. Location is beautiful. Everything Itasted I would say is sub-par except the Mexican rice, refried beans, chips, and salsa were all perfectly acceptable. The restof the food was either just very mediocre or kind of gross. I had to send my whole entrée back because it was just that bad andI think it may be the first time in my life I've ever sent my whole plate of food back. I felt kind of bad about doing so butour waitress was just as sweet as can be and made me feel a lot better. I do kind of wonder if we got unlucky with whoever thecook was that evening because the photos I'm seeing some other reviewers took of the food recently looks so much better thanwhat we were served. We ate between 3:30-4:00, not too crowded our server was very polite the service was quick. When we sat down they immediately... gave us some chips and salsa, when your drinks are low they would refill it without asking. If you are a light eater, recommendsharing because their serving size is hefty which is great for people who prefers bigger portion. Love the new location. Very modern. The food portion is amazing as always. Excellent value.
Wanted to checkout the new location. Great decor reminiscent of modern restaurants in Mexico City. The host and bartender... quickly greeted us, we decided to sit in the bar, good crowd for mid-day Saturday. They offer Happy Hour specials, 3-6pm, M-F.Good table distances, staff and patrons practiced good Covid protocols. Great service, received everything we requested. I got the steak fajita. I was pleased with my meal. I am allergic to avocados they happily held the guacamole. Nice atmosphere... lunch was served quickly which was so nice. Will definitely come back again. Read more
