The girlfriend was in the mood for some crab cakes or halibut, she didn't care which one, she just needed one or the other. ... When she gets one of those hankerings, its best to just find it for her. :) We've been to this Ivar's before and have alwaysliked it. We walked in and the air was on and we definitely appreciated that considering it was around 95 degrees outside. Iwish I were better at catching names because I feel I can't give proper shout outs to the ones that deserve it, but our serverswere all great yesterday. I am the biggest seafood fan and Ivar?s is at the top of my list. This location in Federal Way has the nicest staff. Both times... we went this weekend it was different people working. A+ on customer service and food. I love the little oyster crackers thatcome with the best chowder ever! Read more

It?s Valentine?s Day February 14, 2022 my husband and I @ 5:28 p.m.ordered from Federal Way the Commons got home to Lakewood... 7:15 p.m. only to find out that our salmon Caesar salad dinner has NO salmon! tried calling the restaurant and they?re nottaking calls so very very disappointed! $52 and no salmon! If they?re not going to allow you to dine in because of proof ofvaccine status they should at least quality check and assure that your order is correct and complete! Read more
The chicken was quite good! This is a greasy and heavy meal, however, so be prepared and be hungry, otherwise you?ll feel it as... a gut bomb. Classic fast-food style seafood and chicken that?s fairly good quality. I probably won?t be back in a while causeit?s so heavy, but worth trying out if you?re in the right mood. Read more
