It had been years since my wife and I went to a hibachi restaurant, so I chose this place for a date night for the two of us.... Reservations were easy to make, which was good because it seems like a very popular place and I'm glad I made them! Our chefwas Sonny and he kept us smiling and laughing while he was there. He was also very aware of the people of his table andrefrained from the usual shows of fire and tricks because it was scary to some of the kids we were seated with. While it waskind of a bummer to miss out on that, it was really heartwarming to see a chef be respectful and mindful towards his entireaudience. The food was delicious. I got the lobster and chicken, while my wife did the lobster and shrimp. We couldn't eat allof it and had to take boxes home. After drinks and tip, we spent about $80 on each of us. Great place to eat! Welcoming hospitality. Prompt service as soon as we were seated. Ample menu choices--chicken, beef, shrimp,... calamari, lobster tail, vegetarian,... all cooked spectacularly at your table. Very generous portions! And everything wasdelicious! This is one of our favorite restaurants! Great for birthdays, date night, girls night or any night!! They have sushi and sake as... well. The filet mignon is really good but the chicken is my favorite. (They have combos where you can get both too.) I highlyrecommend you get fried rice! It is ideal to call ahead and make reservations especially if it'd more than two in your party. Wedidn't have reservations but were sat within 15mins and had a great time as always. Can’t say enough great things about this place. The food is always amazing, the staff is friendly & helpful and the chef... always entertains the table. The jokes are great and never get old no matter how many times you visit. Pro tip - keep the soupbowl to use as a container for the orange “yum yum sauce”, that stuff is delicious. I ordered the New York Steak with scallops. Prior to our entrée, we were served soup and salad, both were delicious and not... overbearing in flavor. Our chef was entertaining and comical, he made the tension at the table feel at ease. Chef cooked uszucchini and mushrooms, it was fresh, crisp and very tasty and not overcooked. My steak was cooked medium rare, it was nicelyseasoned and tender. In all, I was impressed with service, value, & taste. This place is better than another place located inSouth Center Tukwila, I won't mention the name, but Tokyo Japanese Steak House takes the win. Read more

It was great. Our service was great. Everyone was nice. We had a big party. They were nice, and seated us all, we didn't even... have a problem with the gratuity on the bill.
